Upon the back of the building, I pointed out the vent that would get us in. Everyone looked at Tech. "She is right; the scans show the vent leads to the main hub."

I looked at them in disbelief. "You all waited to fact-check me?"

Tech shrugged, " we like to be thorough. Can't be too careful on a mission like this." The rest of the team exchanged knowing glances, some hiding smiles, while you couldn't help but roll your eyes at their cautious approach.

Hunter steps up getting ready to climb the wall, "we don't really work well with others"

"Alright, fine," you said, trying not to sound too annoyed. "Let's not waste any more time. We need to get in there and access the main hub. Time is of the essence." With that, you all moved toward the vent, ready to start your mission.

Building up the force, I jumped up to the vent and started working on it to make an opening. Wrecker nudged me aside. "Let me handle this," he said, effortlessly ripping the vent off its hinges.

"Sooo, if I need something to be opened, I'll call upon you, Wrecker," I smirked.

"Haha, you can count on me, but I'd rather just blow it up."

Hunter and Tech went in first, followed by Wrecker. A drawled voice came from behind me, "Age before beauty."

I laughed, "Then why aren't you going, old man?"

He scoffed and went in. "Just admit it, kitten. You just like my backside."

The exchange of banter continued, and I couldn't help but blush as Crosshair teased me. "Why must you always have the last line?" I complained.

I could practically hear the smirk in his voice as he responded, "Because I'm smooth with my mouth."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at Crosshair's remark. However, during our time in the vent, I couldn't deny that I had noticed his impressive physique from behind. Lost in my thoughts, I found myself unintentionally ogling him, only to be called out when he said, "I can feel you staring holes in my back."

My face flushed even more, and I stammered in response, "Well, you told me to check out the view."

Crosshair's voice echoed through the narrow duct as he continued the playful banter, asking, "So, how's the view, kitten?"

I scoffed, trying to maintain my composure. "You'll never know."

The exchange was a welcome distraction. As we navigated through the ductwork, the air grew colder and the tension thicker. I shiver from the cold.

Tech piped up through the comm, "Okay, we're getting close to the main hub. Remember, stealth is crucial from here on out."

Wrecker whispered, "Stealth, huh? That's not my strong suit."

Hunter chimed in, "That's why you're here for the heavy lifting, Wrecker."

We finally reached the vent leading into the room we needed to access. Tech, started to quietly work on disabling the security system. Meanwhile, we waited in suspense, keeping an eye out for any unexpected surprises.

The seconds felt like hours, but finally, Tech gave us the signal. "Security is down."

hunter nods and slowly descends down form the vent. tech was next then wrecker. as soon has i got to the vent i saw the three brothers take out the droids around the area we needed access to.

The room was filled with screens and blinking lights, and we knew we had to move fast to access the data we needed and to blow up the foundation.

The team spread out in the room, each of us focusing on our respective tasks. Hunter took a position by the door, ready to cover our exit, while Tech connected her equipment to the main console, her fingers dancing over the keyboard with precision. Wrecker kept a watchful eye on the corridor outside, his massive frame making him an imposing presence.

As I moved closer to the central console, I couldn't help but feel the weight of the mission. The data we were after was critical, and the consequences of failure were too dire to contemplate. The hum of machinery and the glow of monitors filled the room, adding to the tension.

Tech's voice crackled over the comm, "I'm in. Accessing the mainframe now."

As the data continued to flow on the screen, I couldn't tear my eyes away from the mention of my old master's name. It was unexpected, and the implications were immense. The droid operation had expanded far beyond what we had imagined, and the revelation that it might be connected to my past was a shock.

In a moment of urgency, I gasped and grabbed Tech, who was momentarily confused by my sudden reaction. "We need this data, download it now."

Tech's brow furrowed, and he exchanged a quick, concerned glance with Hunter. It was clear that my request was unconventional, and they were hesitant to divert from our primary mission.

Hunter stepped in, his voice calm but firm. "Tech, finish the mission and locate the self-destruct sequence."

I looked at Hunter with a mix of desperation and determination. "We are not blowing up this factory until I get this intel. I need this information," I insisted, my voice demanding.

The team exchanged puzzled glances, and Hunter finally responded, "We came here for a mission, and once we have the necessary data, we can explore ways to retrieve the information you need. But our priority is completing the objective and getting out of here safely."

I understood the logic behind Hunter's words, but the personal connection I felt to the data on the screen weighed heavily on my mind. I reluctantly nodded. i stated to pass around the room.

We continued to move around the room, and the tension continued to mount. However, just as the download reached its critical point, we started to hear the unmistakable sounds of droids moving around outside the room. Crosshair, keeping watch, reported that seven droids were approaching.

Tech's announcement that the download was complete brought a brief moment of relief, but it was short-lived. As he plugged in the computer with the critical data, the alarm blared throughout the facility, and the red lights continued to flash. Panic surged through me as I watched Tech frantically type to expedite the process.

Wrecker stood at the ready, prepared for a potential confrontation, and Hunter's grip on his weapon tightened. The room was filled with tension as we faced the increasing threat from the droids and the ever-escalating danger of the mission.

Hunter's quick decision was to evacuate the room, and he nodded to Wrecker, who promptly scooped me up and carried me out while opening fire on the advancing droids. I was in shock and yelled back, "What are you doing? We need to head back and get that information!" I struggled in Wrecker's arms, trying to break free.

Tech's explanation of the trip alarm and the dire situation we were in hit me like a ton of bricks. The knowledge that the factory's security systems were aware of our presence filled me with frustration, as it threatened to jeopardize the retrieval of the information I sought.

I continued to struggle in Wrecker's arms, and my agitation reached a peak. In response, he ducked into a corner to take cover and, to my surprise, smacked my backside. I stopped moving in shock and stammered, "Did you just spank me?"

Crosshair chimed in over the comms, adding a playful but firm tone, "If you don't help us get out, then you'll get your butt smacked again, Kitten."

"FINE! Let me down; I'll take them on," I huffed in frustration.

Wrecker looked at Hunter for permission, and once granted, my feet hit the floor. I wasted no time, immediately drawing my pistols and rolling out from Wrecker's cover. I opened fire on the advancing droids while expertly dodging their shots.

The rest of the team behind me gasped in awe, likely impressed and perhaps a bit taken aback by my fearless and determined approach. Tech, in the midst of the firefight, shouted out his plan, "Wrecker, break this wall. It'll lead us to a corridor with a side exit, which you need to blow up."

As we continued to work together to create an escape route and fend off the droids, Wrecker's explosive expertise came in handy. He blew up the final door, allowing us to make a mad dash for the forest. Crosshair was already there, providing covering fire to protect our retreat.

We sprinted towards the safety of the forest, and once we had reached a safe distance, Wrecker's wild laughter echoed through the air as he pushed a button. The factory erupted in a massive explosion, a fiery spectacle in the distance. "look at that!! Its so beautiful" he boosted.
