''What do you wish to do with the mixed rose petals?''
''Sprinkle them at the beginning when we come around, then a few on the table and a few around it. The rest can be up to your imagination.'' The guy nodded, asking a few of the workers to do as was said.
''We'll set the speakers up onto the side, the DJ set up will be hidden off to the side, that way she won't see it and neither will you. Slow songs, then once you give the nod the DJ will play the song.''
''Great, we should be arriving at around...'' Looking down at my watch, I estimated what time. ''..Six, the prom doesn't start until seven but everyone should be arriving about that time.''
''Where we are now, it is very remote and hidden so you won't hear anything.''
''That's even better. Again, I can't thank you enough.''
''It's our pleasure sir, it shall look beautiful and magical. She will be sure to remember it.''
I sure fucking hope so.
Smiling at him, with a firm hand shake I looked back down to my watch.
11:29 am.
''I should get going, I have a lot to organize but call me if there are any issues, or just need a brief on the idea.''
''Of course. Oh and sir?''
''Yes?''
''Will you be needing anything to drink?''
''Yes, anything that is similar to champagne.''
''I'll see what I can get for you sir.''

Lauren P.O.V
''Laur, wake up.''
...
''Lauren! Get up!'' Alexa shouted into my ear, me jumping in fright before pushing her off the bed.
''What the hell is it?''
''Your mom said there's something at the door for you. She told me to come get you.'' Alexa had a wide smile spread across her face, scrambling up to her feet as she waited with her arm held out.
Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, and yawning I met the floor with my feet.
''This better be good.''
''Oh it is.'' Her smile grew wider, and I took her arm as she yanked me out of my room and down the stairs.
''Slow down, otherwise I'll fall.'' I groaned, still half asleep as she let go and ran into the kitchen area.
I swear if it's just breakfast, I'm going to kick her ass.
Rounding the corner, my eyes a little squinted from the burst of sun light from the window, I saw Taylor admiring something while my mom smiled at me. Dad was smirking as he sipped his coffee, and Chris was too busy eating his cereal.
''You had something arrive for you. We woke up to find them at the front of the door. Your father went to get the mail, but found these.''
Alexa and Taylor moved around the table, and there they were. At least thirty or more long stemmed white roses that were wrapped beautifully in a small vase with plastic wrapping, a huge white bow with red ribbon around it.
Who the hell sent me these? And what fucking for?
My hands were now covering my wide open mouth, a smile creeping slowly but surely. Moving over to the roses, they were beautiful.
