A soft melody danced through the air, filling the rooftop with its tender melody. The gentle music, seemingly coming from nowhere and everywhere at the same time, wrapped around Nia like a warm embrace. Its soft notes perfectly complemented the romantic setting and invited her to be swept away by the magic of the moment.

With each step that brought her deeper into the transformed rooftop, Nia's heart fluttered in anticipation. The beautifully arranged fairy lights, the intoxicating scent of flowers, the distant sounds harmonizing with the soft melody – everything worked together to create an unforgettable ambiance.

Nia couldn't help but feel the weight of the moment, the significance of being immersed in such a lovingly crafted setting. It was as though the rooftop had been specially designed to capture her heart, evoking both a sense of awe and an overwhelming feeling of being cherished.

It felt like a scene straight out of a fairytale.

Theodore stood at the far end of the terrace, tall and confident, his eyes eagerly searching for her arrival. Nia's heart fluttered in response, a familiar warmth spreading through her veins. As she walked towards him, a radiant smile graced her lips, and her dress swayed elegantly with every step.

When Theodore finally laid eyes on her, time seemed to stand still. He couldn't help but marvel at the woman before him. The off the shoulder dress clung to her curves, accentuating every captivating attribute she possessed. The black fabric contrasted against her flawless complexion, deepening the intensity of her eyes.

His heart skipped a beat, just as it had done all those years ago. Theodore couldn't help but be mesmerized by the way Nia still effortlessly captivated him, even after five years. She was more beautiful than ever, an ethereal vision that took his breath away.

Theodore broke the silence with a warm smile. "Nia, I must say, you look absolutely stunning tonight. That dress highlights your beauty in the most captivating way."

Blushing, Nia thanked him. "Thank you, Theo. You always did have a way with words. You look quite handsome yourself."

They laughed, feeling the ease of their connection once again. As the evening unfolded, their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with reminiscences, laughter, and shared dreams.

Nia leaned back, her eyes glistening with nostalgia. "Remember that time you had to pee so bad that we ended up stumbling upon a secret garden in some random people's yard? for a moment, it felt like our own little paradise."

Theodore's face lit up as he nodded. "How could I forget? Your face was filled with so much joy and wonder when we discovered that place. It's moments like those that make life truly magical."

Hours passed, and their connection appeared stronger than ever. But just as they were sharing dreams of a future together, Nia's phone rang with an urgent call.

She answered, her expression quickly turning into one of worry. "It's my mother. She's been admitted to the hospital. I'm so sorry but I need to go."

Without a second thought, Theodore grabbed her hand and said, "Let me take you there. We'll figure this out together." Nia, acknowledging the late hour and not wanting to inconvenience Matteo, nodded in agreement to the offer.

Theodore's men quickly escorted them out of the building and into a black SUV. In the car, a mix of worry and comfort filled the silence. Theodore held Nia's hand tightly, providing her with the strength she needed in that moment.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Nia quickly walked up to the front desk, where a Nurse sat. "Evening I'm here for a Mrs. Well's," the woman at the desk checked into her computer. "Yes, I do have a Mrs. Well's here, are you family?"

"Yes, I'm her daughter," She replied.

"Okay then, she's currently getting a few stitches, and a possible MRI scan but she should be Alright, just wait in the waiting room. A nurse or a doctor should be with you at any moment," Nia nodded, and with her hand in Theodore's hand they sat down in the empty waiting room. Her hands gripped Theodore's hand tight to a point where his hands were turning red but he didn't mind.

As she they sat in the waiting room, tears welling up in her eyes."lay down Nia," She shook her head.

"We have been waiting here for 10 minutes, 10 whole minutes Theo!" Theodore gently guided her head to rest on his lap, and she complied.

"I know darling, just rest, I'll wake you up when they do. You're not alone, Nia," he whispered softly. "Just close your eyes and rest."

Nia felt the weight of the day lift off her shoulders as she drifted into a peaceful slumber. Theodore watched over her, his gaze filled with tenderness.

Theodore gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, he whispered to himself,

"No matter what life throws our way, I will always be here for you, Nia."
