" You broke the biggest rule today " Kaseci spoke directly looking Nah'jae with a mug on her face.

Nah'jae couldn't help but feel anger as she absorbed the weight of Kaseci's words. She didn't even need to finish her sentence for Nah'jae to know the mistake she made.

Nah'jae understood she had to stand on business with the opps, but she knew that doing it in public was her downfall. She put not only herself at risk but her whole gang.

Her actions made their trail hot which they couldn't afford at the moment.

" I - "

Before Najhae could finish her sentence, Kaseci shot her a hard look almost like she wanted to shoot her face into million pieces.

" Ion wanna fuckin hear it. When the fuck you started doin sloppy shit like that huh " Kaseci questioned aggressively allowing the vein in her forehead to become visible.

Nah'jae fought the mug that wanted to appear on her face.

She already knew what the fuck she did wrong, she did not want to hear it from nobody else. Especially someone who had her life in the hands.

" You right, I was bugging. I just couldn't control myself when I seen that bitch demon, I had to get her " Nah'jae spoke passionately, her hatred for demon evident in her words.

Words could never express how much she hated demon, she took everything from her.

Demon was more than a threat to her gang. She killed some of her friends not to mention the love of her life, Mazi

Kaseci's face soften as she heard Nah'jae's words. Nah'jae studied Kaseci's expression, which held an indescribable mix of emotions.

" Go and don't let that shit happen again, next time you won't be able to walk into this room to hear my voice " Kaseci said calmly, her face returning to its hardened expression.

Nah'jae turned to leave, tears threatening to spill from her eyes. Just the mention of Mazi had her on the verge of breaking down.

" And don't ever bring nobody to the fucking trap house again Nah'jae " Kaseci said, sending chills down Nah'jae's spine.

Nah'jae couldn't help but glance back at Kaseci, feeling her gaze pierce into her soul. Making her want to get the fuck out that room.

Quickly turning back around, Nah'jae swiftly exited the room. Making her way downstairs, She could hear Creed's booming voice coming from where she left Xhane.

Turning the corner, her heart dropped as she witnessed Creed aiming his gun directly at Xhane's face, whose face was completely drained of its color.

" She's with me Creed " Nah'jae said positioning herself in front of the gun, their eyes fought a silent battle as she silently dared him to pull the trigger.

Withoutout hesitation, Creed lowered his gun. His expression softened as he locked eyes with Nah'jae.

" Get her the fuck up outta here sis " Creed mumbled, his attention still fixed on Xhane.

Nah'jae couldn't help but sense the tension in the air as Xhane avoided his intense gaze. Her feet hit the floor with a purpose as zoomed towards the door.

Nah'jae ran after her, she fully aware that today had been an overwhelming day for her best friend.

Especially because she never seen no shit like this in person.

" Yo I'm sorry about everything today, especially doin that shit in front of you. It's just alotta shit you'on know about" Nah'jae rambled, observing Xhane's distant expression.

" Xhane bro " Nah'jae began, shaking Xhane's shoulders lightly trying to snap her out of the trance she was in.

Xhane met her gaze, tears welling up in her eyes. Her face held an indiscernible emotion, one that Nah jae couldn't quite decipher.

But she knew it surpassed any emotion Xhane had experienced because of today.

A knot formed in Nah jae's stomach, an ill feeling washing over her.

The same unsettling feeling she had felt earlier when she thought about Xhane's actions returned. Her gaze stayed fixed on Xhane as she realized she couldn't shake this feeling.

Tearing her eyes away from Xhane, Nah'jae firmly grasped her hand and began walking. Her gaze caught Creed climbing into the car she had just exited.

She knew he was disposing it so nothing couldn't be traced back to them.

She watched as Creed eyes screamed out for her, once again she struggled to decipher the emotions hidden within them.

Watching him drive past them, a chilling sensation crept up her spine that she couldn't ignore.

Shaking off the uneasiness, Nah'jae make sure her gun was off safely as she prepared to walk down the block with Xhane.

" We gotta walk down 2 blocks then we can order the Uber " Nah'jae mumbled ignoring Xhane's stare of confusion.
