When we reached my dads truck he popped the trunk and we put all of the bags of clothes and shoes he bought for me inside
"Why you nervous before you know it you'll be walking across that stage and going to college have you been writing those essays"

I could hear in the guys voice he was getting irritated and I wanted atlas to leave immediately

Before I could object he hung up the phone I immediately called back and he declined the call so I waited it out a good 5 minutes
After calling him back to back 10 times atlas finally answered

I reached over to my nightstand and grabbed my Roku remote so I could finish watching Big Mouth on Netflix
Not gonna lie like 15 minutes into the episode 1 started to doze off until I go a notification on my phone I picked up my phone to check I was hoping it was just atlas telling me he made it home safely but it said something else

"What you doing here it's late atlas I said text you got home as in your house"
"You was mad ion like dat you was bout to go ta sleep mad at me ma" he snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me into a hug causing me to smile

"Um I guesss since your here you gotta spend the night i don't want you out anymore"

I looked over to my side seeing atlas waking up I'd forgot about him
"I'm sorry it was around 11 when he came over I invited him I'm sorry dad I should've asked"
