Amori and the rest of the family were in the bleachers waiting for the game to start. It was Damon's first time back on the pitch after being taken out last season. Amori felt as anxious as Damon was feeling in the locker room.
"I just don't want him to get hurt again" Amori pouted as she rubbed her hands together
"He won't,I know he will ace this game" Sage reassured Amori
"It's so cute how you're wearing his jersey" Iris blushed
"Ssssh it's almost time" Mama Duke told off everyone making them avert their attention on the pitch.
"Welcome to the new NFL season M&T stadium fans" One of the Commentators shouted into the microphone
"It feels good to be back Johnny,are you ready to see the boys get dirty" The other commentator laughed
"I am surely ready to see Damon Freed back on the pitch after a whole season ,what do you think Duncan" Johnny the commentator smiled
" Back at it again with his rival Deshaun Hawkins ,I love to see it" Duncan the other commentator chuckled.
" Tonight on the pitch we have the Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens , a game we never thought we needed to start the season" Johnny laughed
"These commentators really get out of context at times" Asia huffed
"Last time Johnny Grey got suspended for calling one of the Washington Commanders players out of his name" Dylan laughed making Asia pinch his arm
"Sorry babe" Dylan apologized but he was still laughing in his head.
Amori was so nervous for Damon. Mama Dukes looked over at Amori and rubbed her back to calm her down as she was about to have an anxiety attack.
"The players are set and ready,just waiting for the ref to start the game" Duncan talked into the microphone
"And there goes Shaun Tucker of the Patriots with the ball,he passes it onto Deshaun Hawkins " Johnny laughs
"Looks like Damon Freed is ready to tackle Deshaun ,bit things take a drastic turn for Deshaun as he loses the ball, making Reese Adams from the Baltimore Ravens take the ball and pass it to Damon" Duncan shouts into the microphone
"There goes Damon Freed, sprinting down the pitch,he dodges 4 of the Patriots and he doesn't stop running. Deshaun catching up to Damon and Damon dodges Hawkins." Johnny smiled
