Amori was rearranging her apartment since Damon's mom was coming over to host her book club.
"I don't understand why she didn't want to use the penthouse?" Damon huffed through the phone
"Maybe she wanted a small space" Amori shrugged as she put fresh flowers into her vase
"Sorry she bothered you to use your apartment" Damon laughed
"I have no problem with her using it,besides you out of the city ,so it's understandable" Amori smiled picking up the phone so she could see Damon
"I can't believe GQ wanted an interview with me though,wish you were here" Damon smiled widely
"What would have people thought if I went with you,you already know the shaderoom had me on their page just a week ago , being called the homewrecker" Amori pouted as she sat on on of her kitchen stools
"But you still proved them wrong and besides I wouldn't mind people calling you my girlfriend" Damon smiled
"But I'm not,I'm just the best friend who is more than the best friend and less of a girlfriend ,I'm just in the middle" Amori huffed playing with one of her loose braids.
"Remember,baby steps and we are doing fine the way we are, we'll definitely be ok, remember I always tell you regardless of what the media says,as long as we got each other we good " Damon reassured Amori which made her smile
"I know, I know" Amori blushed as she covered her face
"I gotta go now,I have to get ready for the interview,I love you" Damon smiled as he blew a kiss to Amori
"Alright,I love you" Amori giggled blowing a kiss to Damon and he cut the call
It wouldn't be a bad idea being his girlfriend. Amori thought to herself as she went to shower to go buy some snacks for the book club.

"Hey bitch" Iris shouted from the other side of the phone
"Girl why you shouting?" Amori asked her best friend
"Oops sorry girl,my bad" Iris laughed
"So how's it going that side" Amori asked Iris as she picked out her outfit
