Chapter 40 ~𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐲~

"Interesting" Hinata said as he ate his breakfast confused too "I have nightmares about losing matches a lot, maybe it was about that?" He questioned looking up at me and I turned to him

"No, I don't think so," I said even though I knew it wouldn't be about that, I'm not obsessed with volleyball

"Maybe it was about Kageyama, he is a nightmare," Hinata said seriously with no fear of Kageyama. I almost spat out my rice as I looked over to make sure Kageyama didn't hear that. Luckily for Hinata, he didn't

"I hope it wasn't about him" I laughed

"Maybe it was about your teeth falling out," Tanaka said from across the table and I looked at him puzzled

Teeth falling out?

"I-... don't think so" I tried my best to not look weirded out

Why would I have a nightmare about my teeth falling out?
What kind of nightmares is he having?
Are they even nightmares?

The news of my nightmare traveled through the whole team and they all started pitching ideas of what my nightmare was about

"Maybe it was about waking up in the savanna desert where elephants have adopted you," Asahi said and I looked at him concerned, I looked at the full team concerned as I thought about some of their suggestions

Turning into a cowboy?
Being on the hunger games?
Meeting Danny Devito??
Marrying Oikawa???

"What kind of nightmares are you guys having?" I asked "They're... strange" I tried to find the right word for their bizarre nightmares

They all shrugged AT THE SAME TIME. I wondered if I was getting some practical joke played on me as they laughed before continuing to eat like nothing happened.

I turned to Tsukishima scared and he just shook his head with no explanation

"How is your hand?" Tsukishima asked while taking my hand off the table lightly and examining it

"It's ok, I'm going to the nurse after breakfast so she can check it out," I said as I ate my breakfast with one hand since he had my other one

"You didn't go yesterday?" He questioned me confused

"No, you had already looked at it and bandaged it" I shrugged

"Yeah, but I'm not a professional," he said letting go of my hand

"You're as good as one" I smiled and he shook his head as he held back a smile

"Except I'm not qualified" he stated while eating his food "Do you want me to take you to the nurse's office?" He asked and I shook my head

"Nah it's ok, you should finish your breakfast. I'm going to go right now so that I can still help set up the gym" I yawned as I placed my empty bowl and chopsticks down

He mumbled an "ok" while looking away

"I'll see you at practice" I smiled at him as I stood up and took everyone's empty bowls away to get cleaned.

I passed the bowls to the managers and told them where I was going and they said it was ok

I walked through the crowds of people to get to the exit so I could finally walk down the hall and find my way to the nurse's office... but I was walking around confused not remembering where it was because yesterday I was in such a daze I wasn't really paying attention

I guess it must be near the bathroom?
Where are the bathrooms again?
HOW DID I KNOW YESTERDAY BUT NOT TODAY?

Ok but it's not my fault because this place has so many halls and bathrooms, it's like a maze
