Chapter 40 ~𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐲~

"C'mon guys! Time to start the day!" Yachi yawned as she stood up

They all began to stand up while I stayed in my bed annoyed

"We can do breakfast without you Y/n?" Yukie asked me and I looked up at her alarmed

"No! No, it's ok!" I smiled at her as I stood up too

We walked to the girls bathrooms/changing rooms and got into our 'manager outfits' which was just a top and shorts, maybe our team jackets if we got cold

Today, I was feeling a lot more comfortable around them, I don't know what it was but something in me switched and I realised I was being silly over the whole thing. Maybe it was my new surprising friendship with Bokuto or maybe it was because of the many inspirational things Kei had said, maybe it's even because of the whole scavenger hunt thing and I've realised that I shouldn't take people being kind to me for granted. I'm not sure, but I felt lighter for whatever reason.

"Y/n, you seem a lot... happier today" Eri noticed as we got into the kitchen and she put on her apron, I smiled at her nervously

"Yeah, we thought you didn't like us Y/n" Kaori added as she passed me an apron. I looked at them feeling guilty, I didn't want to give them that impression. I felt so stupid.

"Oh no, no, it was nothing like that, I just felt a little bit out of place since you guys had all met each other before" I looked away nervous but tried to smile to not make it so serious

"Oh, we're sorry if we made you feel that way" Eri frowned as they all walked closer to me and I shook my head

"No, it was just me overthinking" I laughed as I rubbed the back of my neck

"Well, I'm glad we're all friends now" Yukie said and I smiled at her and nodded. I felt two pairs of eyes on me and I couldn't help but look at them, Yachi and Kiyoko stared at me intently with unreadable expressions. I felt the intensity in the room start to rise as the other managers caught on to the weird atmosphere

"Ok! What do you guys want me to do?" I said loudly, breaking the silence and the atmosphere

"Well since your hand is still hurt Y/n why don't you just read out the list of what we need to do" Kiyoko said nonchalantly as she passed me a board with a check list on it, I smiled at the fact she talked to me.

Maybe they're finally getting over it?

"Are you sure? I don't want to laze around" I asked as I looked at them unsure, they all just smiled at me

"Of course! We don't want you to hurt your hand more" Yukie said as she patted my back

Thank god! I actually can't be bothered doing any work

I read and checked of the list after each completed task until we were finally done! We handed out the breakfast to the boys before finally sitting down ourselves

I sat in the seat Tsukishima saved for me, which was between him and Hinata. I yawned extra loud while sitting down and Tsukishima looked at me annoyed which caused me to laugh, he was so easy to annoy

"Tired?" He asked and I looked up at him and nodded my head "You went to sleep so early though?" He questioned confused

"Busy morning and I had a nightmare," I said trying to recall my nightmare, although I can't remember what it was about I felt shivers run down my spine. It was a scary feeling.

"You had a nightmare Y/n?" Hinata asked concerned from my other side

"Yeah, but I can't remember what it was about," I said eating my breakfast confused
