(Y/n) noticed that Leon had left, wondering why he was always around. She had noticed that he had been keeping a close eye on her, even though she knew he resented her.

Lately, Leon had been acting strangely, making her feel uneasy. Whenever he wasn't by her side, she couldn't help but feel lonely.
Maybe she had just gotten used to him following her everywhere, keeping his distance but still being there.

Her cellmate, Raquelle, wasn't exactly the best company. She had been put in there for killing her father, for reasons unknown to (y/n).

Raquelle always had a bratty attitude, and (y/n) never knew how to deal with it. She was afraid to speak up, fearing that she might get slapped.

Deciding to use the rest of her energy, (y/n) headed to the yard to get some fresh air. As she looked around, her eyes landed on the first person she encountered - Leon. Again.

But this time, he was smoking a cigarette.
Was that even allowed?

"So, you're not dead?" he sneered, referring to her being depressed in her cell all the time.
"At times like 'this', I wish I was," she replied sarcastically, giving him a fake smile, which he returned.

Leon looked at her closely, noticing her chapped lips, dry skin, and visible eye bags. Poor thing.

She caught him staring, and in that moment, she liked it. He wasn't being rude, and there was something in his gaze that seemed softer when he looked at her.

As he took another drag from his cigarette, he maintained eye contact, making her feel weak under his gaze. What was it about him that made her feel like that? He was just a rude guard, after all.

He offered her a drag of his cigarette.

"Take one before someone sees. You look like you need it." Without saying a word, she grabbed his arm and brought the cigarette to her mouth, looking at him as she took a drag.

Damn,

he could barely handle the way his heart raced. Her reaction had him feeling all sorts of emotions. "Thanks," she said before walking away, leaving him standing there, unsure of how to react.

He swallowed hard.
(Y/n) continued on her way, but before she could go any further, she was stopped.

"Ayisha..." (Y/n)'s heart pounding in her chest.
(Y/N) felt a lump forming in her throat as she swallowed hard. Ayisha, with her infuriatingly smug expression, had just accused her of snitching.

"Your stupid ass snitched on me, didn't you?" Ayisha taunted, shoving (Y/N) forcefully towards the fence. Fuck.
"No-" (Y/N) began to protest, but Ayisha cut her off with a sinister warning.

"Snitches don't survive prison, sugar." She continued to advance, pushing (Y/N) relentlessly until she stumbled and fell to the ground. The impact caused her arm to scrape against sharp rocks, leaving it bleeding and throbbing with pain.

Determined not to be a pushover, (Y/N) quickly rose to her feet. There was no way she was going to let Ayisha push her around like that. With a surge of adrenaline, she lunged at Ayisha, throwing a punch. It didn't do much damage, but it was enough to catch Ayisha off guard.

As (Y/N) braced herself for another blow, a guard suddenly intervened, putting an end to the altercation.

"Enough," the guard commanded, forcefully separating the two girls. (Y/N) was dragged away, not realizing that the person leading her out was Leon. He always seemed to be there, like some sort of guardian angel.
Did the other guards even exist?

As they reached the nurse's room, (Y/N) noticed that Claire, the usual nurse, was nowhere to be found.

Leon gently guided her to sit down, concern evident in his eyes as he examined the wound on her left arm. It wasn't a major injury, but it was deep enough to cause bleeding.

Leon retrieved the first aid kit and took a seat beside her, ready to tend to her wound.

"I shouldn't even care for you in the first place, fuck," he muttered, his voice laced with frustration. But his actions spoke louder than his words. He rummaged through the first aid kit, his right hand gliding down her arm, while his other hand skillfully retrieved the necessary supplies.

Her eyes never left him, her heart aching at the sight of him taking care of her. The feelings he carried must have been a heavy burden, especially considering she was behind bars, accused of a heinous crime she didn't commit.

She couldn't help but wonder if he regretted his decision to put her there.

"I can't say I'm disappointed that you do," she finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

The words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken emotions. She knew she shouldn't feel this way, shouldn't crave his care and attention. After all, he was the one who had orchestrated her downfall, risking everything out of resentment towards her.

He stared at her, completely taken aback by her words. He couldn't tear his eyes away from hers, trying to understand what had prompted her to say something like that. After all, he was the one who had put her in this situation. He had no right to feel this way, no right to treat her the way he did.

But despite all that, he couldn't help but be there for her, always making sure she was okay. They hardly spoke, but with each passing moment, she seemed to draw him closer and closer.

She couldn't help but wonder why he treated her with such care and respect if he believed she had harmed his brother in any way.

"Leon..." she whispered, her voice barely audible. He was so close to her, it was as if he could read her thoughts.

"I know," he responded, his touch on her arm so gentle. He was so close, his mesmerizing eyes locked onto hers. His hair still partially covering his face, she instinctively brushed it away, finally meeting both of his eyes.

What was she doing? She should despise him for putting her in this situation, but she couldn't. Not at all. "Fuck," he muttered, before pressing his soft lips against hers.

It happened so suddenly, she didn't have time to react. His hand caressed her cheek as she returned the kiss, but then hesitated. This was something Leon had desired for so long, but he had always restrained himself from acting on it.

They continued kissing, their emotions skyrocketing. Leon's heart pounded in his chest, matching the rapid beats of (y/n)'s heart. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as she gently tugged on his hair. In that moment, there was nothing else but the two of them.

Her fingers trailed from his hair to his chiseled jaw. He was perfect, she thought. He had always been so rude, so this softer side of him took her by surprise, and she liked it. He attempted to move her onto the nurse's bed, but as he did, she winced in pain. He immediately pulled away, realizing what he had done.

"This was a mistake..."
