Adhira rubbed her eyes tiredly as she continued to stare at the laptop screen, trying her best to concentrate. The words on the screen seemed to all merge together like-

It was Sunday and Adhira was responding to emails of her client as well as reviewing the work done by her subordinates. As the department head, she was in charge of overlooking all the projects , making sure they went as planned and met with their client's requirements.

Right now, she was unable to get any work done,  so releasing a sigh she slammed her laptop shut. She brought her fingers up to her temples and rubbed them, feeling another throbbing headache starting to form. She desperately needed a break from work, and just as she was about to consider taking a nap, her phone buzzed on the table. It was her one and only best friend, Ridhi Rawat , who is getting married soon.

Adhira answered the call with a weary voice, "Hey, Ridhi, what's up?"

Ridhi screamed on the other end. "Adhiraaa, meri shaadi hone wali hai aur tu ek bhi din mere saath shopping karne nahi gayi hai, bhul jaa mujhee."

Adhira's tired eyes lit up at the thought of a break from work and spending time with her friend but at the same time she felt guilty for not being there with Ridhi for her wedding preparations.

"Sorry yaar Ridhi, dekh meri galti nahi hai, yeh mera boss Om ya main kahu tera hone wala pati, mujhe chain se jeene nahi deta hai, main weekend pe bhi kaam kar rahi hu."

[A/n( if you are confused): Ridhi is getting married to Om Chauhan (yes, yes)  who is Adhira's boss and Adwait's best friend)

"Stop it and jo bhi lekin tujhe abhi mere saath shopping karne chalna hoga and i don't want any excuse"

"thik hai  chal maine kab mana kiya" muttered Adhira.

Ridhi quickly shared the details of the bridal boutique she had discovered, and they agreed to meet there in an hour. Adhira hung up the phone, a smile breaking through her exhaustion. The prospect of helping her friend prepare for one of the most important days of her life was just the change of pace she needed. With renewed energy, Adhira got up from her desk, grabbed her purse, and made her way to the boutique. As she stepped out into the fresh air and sunshine, the throbbing headache started to fade, replaced by a sense of excitement for the day ahead.

Adhira arrived at the boutique to find Ridhi and her family already there, browsing through a dazzling array of wedding dresses. Ridhi's face lit up when she saw Adhira, and she rushed to give her a warm hug.

"Adhira, thank god tu aa gayi ,main bahot excited hoon!" Ridhi exclaimed, her eyes shining with happiness.

Adhira smiled back and said, "Of course, Ridhi. I wouldn't miss this for the world. Main nahi aati aise kaise ho sakta hai"

Ridhi's mother and sister joined in the conversation, and soon they were all engrossed in discussing wedding dresses, jewellery, and other accessories. Adhira, with her  fashion sense helped Ridhi find the perfect dress for her. They continued to shop till the evening,  and also picked out outfits for all the different functions and rituals that would take place during the wedding celebrations.

Adhira couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness as she saw the joy on Ridhi's face

( after few days)

 At Rathod Mansion-

" Badi Maa, hum sab Om Bhai sa ki shaadi mei jayenge na?" Diya Rathod asked Anuradha(Adwait's mother).Anuradha smiled warmly and replied, "Of course, Diya, we will all be there. It's going to be a beautiful celebration."

Diya's eyes sparkled with excitement, but she couldn't help but express a bit of concern. "But what about Adwait Bhai sa, Badi Maa? Will he be able to make it on time? I heard he's been really busy at the office with the expansion and village projects."

Bhoomi(Diya's mother/ choti maa) and Anuradha exchanged knowing glances, well aware of Adwait's unpredictable nature. Choti Maa chimed in, "You know, Adwait is really busy right now and he is also unpredictable. It's hard to predict his moves. There's a chance he might not come home today and join us directly at the wedding venue."

Anuradha nodded in agreement. "You're absolutely right, Bhoomi. Adwait has always been full of surprises. He might just show up when we least expect it. We'll keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best."

Adwait sat in his office, engrossed in a meeting with his father, Arjun Singh Rathod (chote papa) and Pranav Singh Rathod (younger brother). The discussion revolved around the expansion of their family's hotel business. Aryamaan suggested that they should consider renovating some of their existing hotels to keep up with the changing hospitality industry. As the conversation progressed, they also discussed various issues faced by the villages surrounding their hotels.

After the meeting ended Pranav left for some urgent matters related to the hotels, while Adwait stayed behind in his office, contemplating the decisions made during the meeting.

Just then, his phone rang, and it was his friend Om on the other end."Adwait, kab nikal raha hai tu?"

Adwait, after a brief pause, replied, "Om , shayad  main aaj nahi aaunga .We had a family meeting today at the office , and there's a lot to work on regarding the hotel expansion and the village issues. I don't want to leave things hanging."

Om, understanding the importance of  business commitments, tried to convince Adwait to reconsider." Come on, Adwait, tere dost ki shaadi hai aur tu bol raha hai tu nahi aayega..."

Adwait  sighed, torn between his responsibilities and the desire to be part of his best friend's special day. "Nahi yaar Om,I'll try my best to wrap things up as quickly as possible and join you, mujhe nahi miss karni teri shaadi."
