I walked through the halls,all eyes on me
I don't know why the heck these people despised me so much,though
I knew some reasons about me they hated
my hair,my eyes,
me
l continue walking ignoring every stare,every insult and every glare they gave me
Because l've gotten used to it
This is my life

And it will forever be my life...

I woke up very excited about this day,it was my 10th birthday
The day l was born
The day my parents cherished deep in their hearts
It made me feel wanted,loved and happy
I ran downstairs
Little sounds of my feet tapping on the wooden planks trying to keep up with my pace
I run into the kitchen and hug my mother who was making some cupcakes
"GOOD MORNING MAMA"l say loudly
She turns to face me
"Good morning my dear,happy 10th birthday"she says as she picks up a cupcake from the counter and gives it to me lovingly
"THANK YOU MAMA"l say loudly once again
It had sprinkles mmmm my favourite
"Where is papa"l say with a tilt of my head
"Your father has gone to work early he will be back by evening okay"my mother says with a small sincere smile on her face
I nod and run up the stairs,my friends would be waiting for me at the park and l knew it would be the best day ever with them around
I wore my cherry blossom dress and a nice red bow l got as a gift from my friend
I wear my sandals and run out of the house
I sprint towards the park my happiness as high as the sky,happiness rising inside of me
"HEY SAKURA OVER HERE"shouts one of my friends as they wave their hands at me
I run over to them
"Hey Ino"l say with excitement glowing in my eyes
"Hey Sakura,HAPPY BIRTHDAY"She yells with a hint of excitement in her voice
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAKURA"shout the rest of my friends,Tenten,Kiba and Hinata
"Umm thank you guys"l say with a small blush on my cheeks
They all remembered,they all cared
"He...here"says Hinata,who usually wasn't the one to talk
Everyone else started to give me my gifts
"Here Sakura""This is for you Sakura""l hope you like it Sakura a"
"What are besties for,here""That'll look great on you"
I feel happiness blooming at the bottom of my heart
All these gifts
A necklace from Ino,a headband from Hinata,a bracelet from Kiba,earrings from tenten
I hugged them all as a gesture of happiness,l couldn't control my body from doing that but l didn't regret a single moment
"Thank you so so so much guys"l joyously shout and they all hug me back
We play around the park for some time
"SHIKAMARU"Ino yelled/shouted as she basically dragged Shikamaru to the playground,the poor child was walking lazily around the sidewalk
"Troublesome"he muttered under his breath,even though everyone heard it
"Come on Shikamaru,it's Sakura's birthday"Ino says with a joyful glint in her eyes
"So.."he says with a lazy stare
"SO...say happy birthday"Ino shouts as she pulls me over to where shikamaru is standing,l rarely talked to him,well only occasional good mornings
"Urgh.What a drag,happy birthday Sakura"he says lazily with a yawn
Ino jumps in happiness and my cheeks flush red
It sounded like he didn't mean it,but Lt felt so sincere
"Umm uh..T..hank y..ou"l say cursing myself for stuttering
"yea yea,your welcome"Shikamaru says with a yawn as he starts to walk away back to the path'Sidewalk' of youth he was dragged from by Ino

"I feel something odd about today"Shikamaru mumbles to himself as he leaves the area
