To be the person that God wants you to be,
You must endure the trials that come your way;
You must refrain from running away from your troubles;
Rather than walking away, you should face them head-on;
When you know that He is with you,
You are firm in your conviction that brighter days lie ahead of you;
That in spite of the uncertainty that you have about the future,
As long as you trust in the Lord, things will be okay;
God works for the good of those who love Him;
Hence, remain loyal to Him; surely you can carry on
In spite of your hardships, you can remain strong
Just keep holding on
To the promises of God, Who has great plans for you;
And there is nothing that will deter you from reaching your destination:
That is the promised inheritance of His heavenly Kingdom, where eternal peace resides
