CHAPTER- 18

ARIYA

I saw all of our family members including my family and Veer's family in living room staring at us. Some of them had amused face while some were smirking and the rest were completely shocked.

I didn't knew what to do, I looked at veer and he was already looking at me with 'I don't know when they came back' look. I hid my face in crook of his neck.

I heard him clear his throat and he moved probably towards the family.

'How the hell I'm going to look at them'
'Shit, I'm in a mini dress and I can't even walk and my body is covered with hickeys'

Questions were running through my head.
I heard the sound of door opening and closing and I looked up and we were in our room already.

I looked at veer as his hand caressed my face, I leaned into his touch.

"Get changed Riya, we have to go downstairs" I looked at him in shock and shook my head negatively.

"I'm not going downstairs Veer"

"Riya you hav-"

"Nahin veer, mein abhi face nh krskti or meri halat dekho aap. I'm covered with hickeys and I can't even walk properly"

(Translation- No veer, I can't fave them look at my condition. I'm covered with hickeys and I can't even walk properly)

"It's okay jaan. I'll carry you but hamein neeche jana hai we have some problem okay?" He gave me a quick kiss on forehead and went in closet.

(Translation- it's okay darling. I'll carry you but we have to go downstairs, we have some problem okay?)

After few minutes he came back with kurta pyjama and helped me get out off that dress and I made my way in bathroom while he changed in the closet.

I quickly got dressed and covered hickeys on my neck. It was hard because they were darker in shade and mostly blue.

'He marked me so good' I clenched my thighs together , this is not the time to get turned on Ariya.

"You ready?" He peeked his head in the bathroom and I came back to reality.

I nodded, he offered me his hand and I took it smiling. But my smile fade away as soon as I remember that we have to face our families.

"It's going to be okay, we are married and it's common for married couples to go out and come back like that" He gave me a reassuring kiss on my cheek making me blush at his statement yet giving me some confidence to face my family. It's not like we committed a crime, right.

We descended downstairs and came face to face with everyone. Ammi and Maa were smirking at me while dad and baba were looking at Abhir. Maya Chachi and chachu were also there and the both were smiling at us. Ahaan and Anika were nowhere to be found but they told us that both of them stayed at Nidhi aunty's house in Delhi.

"Namaste.." I made my way towards maa and ammi and touched their feet I did same with others and took everyone's blessings.

Abhir did the same and we all settled down on the couches. I sat beside veer his hand resting on my thigh.

"Tw ap log tw late wapis anay wale the, phr itni jaldi?" Abhir asked to which maa laughed

(Translation- So you guys were supposed to come back late, so why this early?)

"Abhir, hum late hi atay agar tmhare baba ko buri khabar na mili hoti tw hum tm donon ko disturb nh krte" her laughing face was now sad

(Translation- Abhir, we were supposed to come late but your dad got a bad news and if that wasn't the case we had never disturbed you two)
