The creature, a little annoyed, slashed blindly behind it. Toga hurriedly moved his sword to intercept, but as soon as its claws made contact with the old samurai's sword, a sound of glass shattering could be heard.

It only took one hit for it to destroy Toga's katana. The force sent the old man back at an extreme speed. The creature moved to give chase, wanting to finish the annoying pest. But its step came to a halt as it felt a prickly, searing heat above the sky.

It looked up, only to see a massive ball of flame forming directly above it.

"The horn of battle sounds aloud, the cruelty of conflict will envelop all. Come, crimson flames, the ruthless inferno. You are the avatar of hellfire. Sweep completely, bring a close to the great war. Burn them through, Sword of Surtr - my name is Alf," Riveria smirked at the creature.

The creature roared angrily as it dashed towards the elven mage, but before it could reach her, Finn arrived in front of it and stabbed his spear straight into its skull.

The spearhead broke on contact, but it was able to whip the creature's head back, due to the momentum of it going forward.

Finn then slammed the shaft at the side of the creature's head. It may have lost its edge, but the body of the spear was still made of solid cold steel.

"GET THE CAPTAIN!!!" Riveria screamed. Bete, being the fastest among them, dashed forward and grabbed Finn by the waist.

Riveria, seeing this, smiled viciously. With a feral shriek, she looked at the creature and said, "TAKE THIS, YOU FUCKING ABOMINATION!!! REA LAEVATEINN!!!"

The blazing hot ball of fire above the creature rained down, a large-scale annihilation magic Rea Laevateinn, a magic that is made to destroy a large area, was condensed by Riveria to solely target the creature and the area surrounding it, making the spell more powerful, potent, and focused.

The magic slammed down like a pillar of hellfire, with the sole purpose of eradicating the creature.

*BOOM!!!*

The heat even reached the citizens who were evacuating, the pillar of flames reaching high above the skies. It was destruction at its truest form.

Riveria screamed as she added more mana into her spell, making it even stronger as it continued to beam down at the creature.

After a few seconds, the fire slowly subsided, the ground molten as smoke rose to the sky. The area, tinged with red as the flames danced in the air.

Riveria panted as she fell to her knees, her hand clinging to her staff for support, her body shaking from exhaustion and overuse of mana. Her right hand shakily moved to a pouch on her back, desperately wanting to chug a bottle of mana potion to ease her pain.

Her eyes glued to the rising smoke, her heart beating out of her chest. She gulped, trying to wet the dryness in her throat.

The smell of burning melted concrete wafted in the air, entering the adventurers' nostrils, the heat prickling at their skin, as dryness in the air was apparent for everyone to feel.
