The grove created by Ẹdaàlà, nestled between the mystical forest and the village, bore witness to a momentous occasion-the union of Ẹdaàlà and his wife, Omilẹrọ, a marine spirit blessed with the wisdom of the river. As the sun painted the sky with hues of gold and crimson, a new chapter of his life was about to unfold. Beside him stood his bride, Omilẹrọ, a graceful and enigmatic woman from the marine world. Together, they awaited the arrival of the villagers who would bear witness to their union and seek their blessings. Villagers from near and far gathered, bringing offerings of food, clothing, and sacrificial animals to honour the spirits and celebrate the union. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as they gathered to celebrate the union of Ẹdaàlà and Omilẹrọ.

The grove, lush and vibrant, had been further adorned with colourful fabrics draped over branches and flowers woven into intricate garlands. It resonated with the energies of both the mystical and human worlds, a testament to the union of two realms. As the villagers gathered, those who sought healing for their ailments approached Ẹdaàlà. He, with his mastery of fire and the transmutation of objects, had become renowned for his ability to mend not only spirits but also the body. Ailing men, women, and children came forward, their hope for recovery shining in their eyes.

Omilẹrọ, radiant in her beauty and grace, stood beside her husband, ready to impart her own gifts. She was known to bless the barren with fertility, a power that flowed from her connection to the river's nurturing waters. Her gentle touch and soothing words brought hope to those who had longed for the gift of children. Omilẹrọ saw a group of children approach a stream behind the grove, as they positioned to urinate, Omilẹrọ exclaimed and gave a stern warning that it is a taboo to pollute that stream as it flows from the mystical forest into the village, healing the land and ensuring progressive flow for the inhabitants. The children immediately channelled their showers to the grasses next to them.

As the wedding ceremony of Ẹdaàlà and Omilẹrọ continued, it became a powerful convergence of mystical forces and earthly blessings. The grove vibrated with energies of healing and renewal, and those who sought Ẹdaàlà and Omilẹrọ's guidance for their ailments found themselves standing before a couple who embodied the union of two realms.

Among the villagers was Labakẹ, a middle-aged woman afflicted with a debilitating illness that had defied the efforts of village healers. She walked in with a pronounced limp, her face etched with pain and weariness. She walked up to Ẹdaàlà and went down on her knees crying. Ẹdaàlà, with his mastery of fire and the transmutation of objects, now focused his attention on Labakẹ. He placed his hands gently upon her shoulders, and as his fingers lightly traced her body, he channelled the purifying energy of fire. It coursed through her like a warm, soothing current, melting away the pain and infirmity that had plagued her for so long. As Labakẹ's body relaxed and her eyes filled with wonder, she felt a strength and vitality she hadn't experienced in years. Her limp disappeared, replaced by the ability to stand tall and walk with grace.
