The unknown fallen angel remained silent, advancing slowly towards me. With a swift motion, she launched herself forward, wielding her newly summoned weapon of light, a spear.

My Infinity barrier effortlessly halted her movement, and she appeared startled by the unexpected turn of events.

I sighed, my tone carrying a hint of confidence. "What led you to believe that charging at me would be effective, especially when your weapon stopped before reaching me?"

She responded with disbelief in her voice, "Impossible... this can't be... no devil possesses such power..."

This mention of 'devil' piqued my interest. "Devil...? Are there devils here? Then what, may I ask, is your classification?"

With a hint of annoyance, she clicked her tongue and retorted, "Hmph. I am a fallen angel. I've been assigned the task of investigating an anomaly that suddenly appeared - an individual wielding extraordinary power in the form of a human."

As she spoke, I couldn't help but ponder the implications. If there were fallen angels, then there must also exist pure angels in this universe.

"I see. well then... I can't have you following me around and causing trouble, so I'll just knock you out," I declared.

With a tap of my two fingers on her forehead, I utilized my Limitless technique to exert precise force on her brain, causing her to fall unconscious. It was a controlled display of power, ensuring she posed no immediate threat.

I couldn't help but smirk as she slumped to the ground, her threat neutralized. "Let's just leave her here," I mused, "it's her fault for attacking me and all."

With the fallen angel unconscious on the side of the of the alley but.

"How about you?, Do you think I wouldn't notice you?"

My six eyes picked up on her presence, glowing dimly in the dark alleyway.

She was a stunning young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair, and captivating violet eyes. She wore the same uniform as the other girls from Kuoh Academy.

Yet, there was a different otherworldly aura about her, distinct from the fallen angel lying unconscious.

She quickly retreated, disappearing from the scene.

"Haa... whatever. Even if she were to tell someone, they wouldn't believe her. It'd only be a waste of time to chase after her."

I start heading toward the location of the apartment.

I strolled into the reception area of 'Penthouse Peaks Living,' I then approached the counter, where a middle-aged man with a friendly demeanor was sorting through some paperwork

I strolled into the reception area of
'Penthouse Peaks Living,' I then approached the counter, where a middle-aged man with a friendly demeanor was sorting through some paperwork.

"Excuse me,"

I began.

"Good evening, I'm interested in renting one of your apartments. I've heard it's a fantastic place to stay."

The owner, Mr. Tanaka, looked up and offered a warm smile in return.

"Welcome to 'Penthouse Peaks Living.' I'm Mr. Tanaka, the owner. We're pleased to have you here. How can I assist you today?"

"Well, Mr. Tanaka, I'm new in town, and I'm looking for a comfortable place to stay for a while. I heard your place has great accommodations."

Mr. Tanaka nodded. "Indeed now, could you tell me how long you plan to stay and which type of apartment you're interested in? We have a range of options to suit different preferences."

I considered for a moment. "I'll be staying for an extended period, let's say six months to start. As for the type of apartment, I prefer something spacious and quiet, if you have any recommendations."

Mr. Tanaka consulted his records. "For a six-month stay, I would recommend our Standard Apartment. It's spacious, quiet, and offers a comfortable living space. The rent for that unit is ¥80,000 per month."

I raised an eyebrow, appearing surprised. "Sounds reasonable. Just to confirm, is there any flexibility in the rent, given the length of my stay?"

Mr. Tanaka smiled. "We can offer a slight discount for a six-month lease. How about ¥75,000 per month?"

I nodded approvingly. "That works for me. I'll take the Standard Apartment for six months at ¥75,000 per month."

Mr. Tanaka handed me the necessary paperwork to fill out. "Excellent choice, and thank you for choosing 'Penthouse Peaks Living.' If you could just provide some personal information and sign here, we'll have you all set up."

We went through the necessary paperwork, and I handed over the deposit and first month's rent. As the transaction was completed, Mr. Tanaka handed me a key to the apartment.

"Here you go, Gojo-san. Your unit is on the third floor, apartment 7. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to come by the office."

I thanked him and headed to my newly acquired apartment, satisfied that I had a place to stay in this unfamiliar universe. Penthouse Peaks Living, while not extravagant, had become my temporary

As I entered the apartment, I took a moment to survey my surroundings. The place was clean and well-kept, with just the right amount of space. I nodded in approval "This is more than decent," already picturing how I'd make it my own. "I could definitely see myself staying here."

I stretched out on the bed, exhaling with a sense of exhaustion. "Whew... What a tiring first day in this new universe. Well, at least it went smoothly."

As I relaxed on the bed, my mind drifted back to the group of girls from Kuoh Academy I had encountered outside the cafe earlier. They had recommended their school to me, but a new problem emerged - I didn't have a legal guardian who could enroll me.

I sat down on the edge of the bed, pondering my situation. "Enrollment is going to be a challenge. Without a parent or guardian, other schools are likely to reject me, especially since I'm just a teenager."

A moment of introspection led to a thought about Geto.

"I wonder what Suguru would say if he were here right now."

I shook off the thought and proceed. "Well, first things first, a relaxing bath, and sleep. then I'll tackle this school enrollment issue tommorow."

- Chapter ends.
