the boy then turned back to jisung to once again lean into his space, unfazed at how jisung could barely look any of them in the eyes.

"why would anyone want to be seen with someone like y-"

"-hey!" minho yelled, snapping his head towards the other students who instantly looked away at the sight of minho's warning glare.

minho's blood was boiling as he moved closer to jisung's side, staring each one of the other dance students down before speaking.

"i want jisung to wait for me outside of my studio."

the revelation had the boys stunned as their eyes widened.

"i have never been for one second annoyed that jisung waits for me. why do you think he still does it even though our assignment was completed weeks ago." he scoffed as he shook his head at them. "don't you think if i was uncomfortable, i would have said something to jisung myself?"

all of them stayed silent, though their uneasy expressions was response enough.

"you had absolutely no right to put that thought into jisung's head." minho's anger was easily detected by his words alone, but his balled up fists and harsh stare intimidated the dancers even further. "and if you don't apologise right now, i'll make sure you can't even fucking walk when the next assignment is given. do you understand me?"

the trio were immediately stumped for words as they panicked. all it took was minho giving a sharp jerk of the head in jisung's direction before the three were spilling out apologies.

meanwhile, jisung was stunned.

having noticed that jisung wasn't replying, minho pushed them back from his desk and stood in front of him protectively.

"get the fuck out of my sight," he glared. "and if i ever see you even look at jisung wrong again, i'll do worse than threaten you."

"y-you got it, minho." hunbeom spoke as the other two nodded.

"we swear, we'll never do anything to jisung again."

"get out." minho spoke through gritted teeth, only turning back to jisung when the three had practically stumbled over their own feet trying to run to the door.

with his eyes on jisung, minho pointed to his work before retracting his hand.

"pack up and meet me outside."

jisung barely had time to nod before minho was out of the door.

minho let out a long sigh as his back rested against the wall, he ran a hand through his hair to ground himself now his heart felt like it was in his throat.

at that moment, jisung hurried around the doorway only to slide to a halt as he met eyes with minho.

"how bad was it?"

moving his eyes to the floor, jisung gave a light shrug.

"jisung," minho spoke quietly as he took a step forward and acted without thinking to gently set his finger under jisung's jaw and tilt his head up so their eyes would meet again. "please talk to me."

letting out a light sigh, jisung felt his eyes sting as he tried to blink back tears.

"...bad."

dropping his hold on jisung's chin, minho kept quiet and felt his shoulders slump.

"why did you believe it?" minho almost whispered, catching jisung by surprise as his breath lightly hitched.
