Clawdeen stared at you through your classroom door. You rested your head on your hand as you listened to the teacher ramble on about math equations and many other complicated subjects you didn't care to pay attention to.

You checked your watch. You still had 30 minutes left, and you rolled your eyes at the thought of sitting in the class a second longer.

The teacher raised her brows as you stood from your seat.

"I'll be back." You said plainly, and you walked to the door.

Clawdeen jumped away and scrambled to the end of the hallway, trying to act cool as you left the classroom.

She watched as you approached the bathroom, which had only been a few feet from your class. After you had entered, she followed.

You had no intention of actually using the restroom. Instead, you pulled your phone from your pocket and began texting one of your friends.

Clawdeen eyed you hungrily. The way you stood against the wall made her eager to speak to you, your dominance and calm exterior fueling her need for you.

She battled with herself. Should she? Would you reciprocate? She had never seen you talk to others, as you had always kept to yourself and never extended your friend group beyond the one ghoul she had seen you walk beside.

Finally swallowing her fear, she approached you.

"Hey." She gave an awkward smile.

You gave a tight smile back, not revealing the fangs that hid behind your perfect, plump lips.

"Hi." You looked back down at your phone and kept your eyes there. If the wolf wanted your attention, she'd have to work for it.

Clawdeen looked at the floor, desperate to think of a conversation starter. Nothing came to her mind, and she glanced in the mirror to distract herself from her growing anxiety.

Her nerves increased at the sight of her reflection. She had so many flaws! Her makeup was too much, her hair was too much, her outfit was too much, and did she really need to show off her flabby stomach with her crop top and skirt?

You watched as a frown formed on her face. The longer she stared in the mirror, the deeper her frown got.

"You okay?" You asked.

Clawdeen jerked back to reality, and she turned to you with wide eyes.

"H-Huh?" She stuttered.

You raised a brow. "Are you okay?"

She nodded quickly, feeling much better now that your gaze was set on her.

A new type of anxiety filled her. Oh, how you made her so nervous! She wished she was as cool as you!

"What're you staring at?" You put your phone away and looked at the mirror that had stolen her joy.

"Nothing..." She mumbled.

"Oh, okay." You shrugged, not taking it as a serious matter. If she said it was nothing, then why would you investigate?

You looked around the bathroom casually before crossing your arms.

Not another word came from the werewolf, and you sent her a second tight smile before making your way to the door.

Clawdeen's throat closed. You couldn't leave!! Not yet!! She finally gained the courage to be in the same room as you! She couldn't let you run away just yet!

"W-Wait!" She yelped.

You stopped and turned back to her. "What?"

"I-I, um..." Clawdeen struggled to think of an excuse for her sudden outburst.
