You pulled your knees closer to your chest, eyes focused upwards towards the moonlit sky as white streaks of light zipped across the endless abyss above.
it's unfortunate that these kinds of sights were missed out on by most humans.
But they could say the same about sunsets.
As you sat there, your mind beginning to wander, you hadn't noticed when somebody silently landed on the roof of the mansion behind you.
That is, until you noticed the scent of cedarwood and salt water dancing on your tongue.
You turned your head around, a bit startled to find Giyu staring intently down at you with a blank look.
"Oh, Tomioka-San, I didn't see you there..." You offered him a smile, a bit unnerved by the way he was looking at your face.
More specifically, at the spot where your blindfold covered your eyes.
"Are you...alright? Did you...want to sit down?"
The dark haired man didn't reply but still moved next to you and sat down. You contemplated what to say, but nothing immediately came to mind.
"Uhm..." His deep blue eyes drew towards you at the sound of your voice and you began to grow a little warm under his gaze. "I just...wanted...to say thank you! For saving my life back at Mount Natagumo. Ah, if it wasn't for you, I probably would be dead right now." You rubbed the back of your neck, flitting your hues towards him every couple seconds to gauge his reaction.
