Life is meant to be an adventure
Long, hard, and confusing adventure
Nobody says easy cause it's not
Some people succeed in sailing their boats.
They are now successfully living on their dream island
Those are people who worked in the top industry
While enjoying their hard-earned work
Sadly, there are only a few who make it to the end.
While writing down my thoughts
I visualize my life where I am now
I am still in the middle of the ocean
Sailing my boat alone and confused.
I immediately check my compass while holding it tight with my bare hands
But suddenly there is a certain force that makes me lose my grip
No matter how hard I tried to hold it tight
But still, in just a split second, it slipped into my hands and directly fell into the water.
From that very moment, as I lost my compass
I also lost my hopes, my guide to lead me to the place where I think I belong
The place that I plan for only a seconds
But allows me to begin to dream and visualize my future.
I blame myself for being careless
To lose the thing that I thought was very important
And then I found myself sitting on the corner of the boat
Nothing to feel but hopeless and tired.
Later on, I dived into the ocean and let myself drown in the sea
While drowning I collect all my memories from the very beginning
And I was mesmerized when I recall my achievements and failures
I weighed it up and I was stunned by my deduction
My achievements are quite denser than my failures.
The reason why I decided to ascend from the water, compose myself, and get back to the boat
I gathered all my strength to pull the engine and maneuver the steering wheel
My passion serves as my compass and map
While hopes and determination as the fuel.
This time, I perceive that it is okay to sail without a concrete map and compass
To wander for a while and take life easy
But I never lose sight of my dreams
I am currently creating a unique compass deriving from my ambition and purpose while keeping the engine roaring.
