Chapter 1. Ressurection

I woke up again in a heavy feeling it’s as if that I have another bad dream when I look around I find everything extremely odd I’m at a new bed, a new room, a new house what is happening? Is this another dream? I got out my room and unfamiliar faces greeted me they said they're glad I’m finally awake they explained what happened I slip while we’re in a waterfalls I fell badly and my head bump hardly into a stone that’s the reason why I barely remember everything I entered my room and locked the door that’s not the thing I last remembered I was in a hike with my friends I entered a cave and an earthquake suddenly occured I look at the mirror but nothing change on my appearance I found old photos of me it was me when I was a child but I have different parents and different memories with them I never recalled any of this happening, after a few moment a realization struck me was this because I opened that portal? I just cried inside my room knowing that I lost my loved ones, a lot of them. I got out the house my parents called me and told me it’s not safe to go out but I insisted, as I run through the roads a fast moving truck hit me I layed down on the roads with blood all over me and I can see the glimpse of a guy in a black suit and after a while all I see is darkness. I woke up again with a heavy feeling, it really seems that all of that things happened in my dreams but was it real or am I really dreaming? I decided to look around and I was in another house I found pictures of me again but this time I’m holding a trophy wearing a volleyball Jersey and I’m not even into sports and this house is big and is elegant, is this the new life I’m living now? things gets extremely odd that’s why I decided to figure out the truth by my own I decided to go to the house where we live with my parents in my first life and to my surprise another family is living their I ask them “what happened to the family who use to live here?“ they just stared me in confuse.

“What do you mean? We live here for long, maybe you’re in the wrong house where are you supposed to go? I can help you if you need it“, the lady answered

"Ah no thanks" I replied

There’s no way this could happen this is our exact address why are there different people living their where are my parents? I also tried searching my parents name in social media but nothing appeared, even my friends name I can't find any of them. Just then a white van appeared in front of me two guys came out and they grabbed me they’re so strong so I can't resist what are they going to do with me? but suddenly a man in a black shirt appeared in the scene he electrified the guys with a taser and he grab my hand and we run and entered to his car and he drives fastly we got them lost that’s why the guy drove slowly

"What’s your name? "he ask

"I'm Abegail", I answered

"So you’re the one who opened the portal", he said

“How did you know?Are you here to help me? Is this just a dream?, I asked him

"It’s not a dream and we're here because of you", he answered

We’re so it's not just him there can be many of them, the car stop in an old house it seems to be abandoned but when I enter the view inside is just so good you can't really judge the book by its cover.

"Are you shock because you found this inside an old abandoned house? said a girl in her 20s

"Ah y-yes" I answered

"We use this house to disguise and not be seen we're undercovers I'm Amara by the way

I’m Mona

and I'm Clemont said the guy in the black shirt

They gathered near me, "You’re the reason why we're here, Mona said

"We are the detectives of the heaven and we’re here to help you close the portal you accidentally opened, Jake said

"I’m really sorry I was too careless that time, I nervously replied

"It’s not you fault, did you feel a sudden urge to enter and roam around the cave the evils are doing it", Claire said

"Yes, I did why do you seem to know a lot can you tell me more?"

"The portal was opened millions of years ago it was a work of evil, wanting to be immortal the King of the Hosean dynasty which is too old and is in verge of death wanted to live again with the life of another person, he said his desires is he want to try living other people’s normal life he said he don’t want to be a king, just then the portal was created by dark magicians using their dark powers it’s the King's order so they can't resist the King tried it, it was a success he live again in another life but he didn't know what the consequences is he tried going back to his palace but no one remembered him there's no trace of his existence it was believe that the portal takes their lives away the King tried to kill himself but he keeps resurrecting day by day and it was all a torment, Amara said

"So the King decided to close the portal and no one knows what happens next, all we know is the portal is slowly taking lives as long as it is open", Clemont said

"And you're here to help me? Will my parents live again? Can I have my life back? Can everything go to normal again?, I asked them

We don't have answers for that we're just here to help you close the portal but it's not easy the assassins of death will always hunt you and even kill you for you to stop doing it, you’re the one who can only close the portal Abegail, Claire said
