CHAPTER 731

Felix fell silent when he heard Seulgi’s question. Even though nothing had happened between the chairman and Bai Xue, they had indeed been together the whole time.

They had worked really hard to bring Bai Xue back from that place to China, and they had just arrived home today. Felix nodded his head honestly.

Seulgi glared at him and said angrily, “My uncle has indeed let Sister Kim down.”

“And you! You know that my uncle is married. Why didn’t you stop him from having an affair?”

“I’m cutting off all ties with you, Felix. You’re not human.”

After saying that, Seulgi kicked Felix suddenly. Felix instinctively dodged and Seulgi took advantage of the moment and rushed out the door.

He absolutely had to tell Sister Kim that his uncle had cheated on her. He couldn’t let her be bullied like that. Seulgi was so angry and so keen to tell Jennie that he forgot about why he came to see his uncle.

Felix did not expect Seulgi to escape like that. After a few seconds, he snapped out of his shock and immediately gave chase. Although Seulgi was no match for Felix, he had always been very good at running away.

This was all thanks to Felix and Lisa. Seulgi trained with them since young and he had become really quick over the years, running away from them to avoid being beaten up.

Only running away quickly could save him from being beaten up. So, when it came to running, Felix was no match for Seulgi.

Felix arrived at the gate huffing and puffing only to watch Seulgi jump into a sports car like an agile monkey. It was too late for Felix to stop him, so he shouted at Seulgi anxiously, “Seulgi, you come back now!”

“The chairman has already said that you can’t leave.”

Seulgi couldn’t care less now. He just wanted to find Jennie quickly and show her the photos. He wanted her to know that his uncle was no longer the uncle he used to be.

He’d then convince Jennie to divorce his uncle. Seulgi started the car and locked the doors, not giving Felix a chance to catch him.

He then rolled down the window and shouted, “Felix, tell my uncle that I, Seulgi, will cut off all ties with a scumbag like him.”

Felix started to panic. The chairman really did not do anything, so how could he let Seulgi ruin the chairman’s innocence? Moreover, the chairman had instructed him to watch Seulgi.

He would not have a good time if Seulgi escaped. Losing his salary was a small matter compared to being punished. Felix didn’t want to be punished.

Felix explained loudly, “Young Master Kang, please listen to my explanation.”

“There’s really nothing going on between the chairman and that woman. The chairman is…”

Before Felix could finish, Seulgi had already driven away, leaving only a taillight for Felix. Felix’s face instantly darkened; he even had the urge to run away. He was done for now.

The chairman would punish him severely. Felix stood at the gate to prepare himself mentally before going back into the house.

Lisa was sitting on the living room sofa and Bai Xue was sitting opposite him, her face aggrieved as if she’d been bullied.

Felix gritted his teeth and took a few deep breaths before walking over to Lisa. He knelt on one knee like a child who had done something wrong and pleaded for forgiveness.

“Chairman, I’ve failed at watching Seulgi.”

“He has escaped. I’m ready for my punishment.”

Lisa, who was already angry, turned even colder when he heard this. It would still be okay if Felix had explained the matter to Seulgi.

If he hadn’t and Seulgi told Jennie the nonsense, he would not be able to clear his name even if he jumped into the Yellow River. Wouldn’t he then lose his precious wife?

Lisa looked at Felix and asked coldly, “You’ve already explained everything to Seulgi?”

Felix was silent. Did he explain everything to Seulgi? Was his explanation clear? He had told Seulgi everything, and even made drastic oaths that he was telling the truth. But Seulgi refused to believe him and even said that he would cut off all ties with the chairman.

After a moment of silence, Felix once again prepared himself mentally and said with a trembling voice, “Yes, I have.”

“It’s just that Young Master Kang didn’t believe me.”

Felix had really explained the matter, but Seulgi did not believe him or listen to him. Felix also had no choice. He couldn’t possibly bring Seulgi back in time to see if something really happened. It wasn’t practical.

When Lisa heard this, he knew that something bad was going to happen. He immediately stood up and decided it’s better for him to settle this matter personally. He ordered coldly, “Get the car ready now. I’m going to see Madam.”
