Before the meeting with the higher ups' , Gojo and Mei Mei had met at the Marine park located in Odaiba, Tokyo bay

''You came?", Gojo asked

''You called!", Mei said with a sheepish grin.

''She's hurt. A lot more than you think", Gojo said referring Utahime.

''It will hurt, and hurt, and hurt, and then one day it won't.", Mei stated.

Gojo sighed and said,''Your escape plan is gonna work, only if Utahime accepts it."

Mei gave it a thought and said,''Hmm, she might be difficult to persuade. But also, she is not a type to hold a grudge for a longer period".

''What about her promotion?" Gojo asked.

''I don't give a damn about my reputation.", Mei continued. ''Get her to be accompanied by me and Leave the rest to me."

Gojo heads back to Jujutsu High.

Mei Mei claims to not understand relationships not based on money.
She considers herself to always on the side of money and doesn't get out of bed for free.

So she doesn't have an issue with getting money from Gojo. Plus, she makes up the stuff she does for work anyway.
