I once thought I was in love,

And that happiness was from above.

But it was all just a fleeting dream,

That shattered my heart at the seams.

I thought I'd never rise again,

Nor find the courage to heal the pain.

People taught me that the sun would rise,

And then my heart would bloom again with a surprise.

I never knew frost could warm hearts too,

Until a heap of sunshine pedaled into view.

On her cycle she came, crashing like a boom,

Taking me for a lifelong ride, no more room for gloom.

Time appeared to stand still. His breath hitched in his chest, captivated by the sight of her gorgeous presence entering the lawn. With every step, she exuded a otherwordly aura, dazzling in her Nikah attire. Just like her name...it seemed like moon had descended down on  earth today. Deep within his soul, a torrent of emotions surged, mixed in uncertainty...it was normal..the 'uncertainty'. It was difficult to discern if it was love that coursed through his veins, yet he was acutely aware that his heart was being undeniably and gradually captured by her and was acting weird inside his ribcage. She was to become his dulhan.

His wife.

His gaze fell upon the gold print that bordered her net pink ghunghat, and his heart swelled with emotion as he read his name, 'Saad ki dulhan.' The sight of his name printed on her ghunghat filled him with a weird sommerfault of emtions and somewhat a sense of disbelief. Could this really be happening? The thought of her becoming his wife made his heart race with mixed waves of all sort of emotions.

As he watched her, a smile formed on his lips. He couldn't help but feel a surge of joy as he saw her walking towards him, her smile radiating happiness. The atmosphere was filled with love, warmth despite the dropping temperature and anticipation as the song changed to "Aasmano se utara noor hai koi." The lyrics of the song perfectly matched the magical moment he was experiencing...he was living.  He felt as if a hoor was actually descending down the aisle from the heaven. He felt like he was in a dream.

As the music changed, the lyrics "Tu jo palke jhukaaye to saaya dhalta" filled the air. At the same time, she bent her head, her lashes touching her cheeks. His heart skipped a beat as he watched her.

The winter landscape was transformed into a snowy wonderland, with delicate soft small snowflakes falling naturally from the sky. She slowly raised her head, her eyes meeting his amidst the snowy backdrop of the mountains. A soft smile adorned his face as he witnessed every lyric perfectly harmonize with her movements. He couldn't help but wonder if Mahjabeen had always dreamt of a magical winter wedding.
