MAXINE
My chain rattles as I put it on. Hello, I'm Maxine- You don't know me. You are a human, and I'm a vampire. Although I'm different a bit- I don't fly, but I can run faster than others. I once ran to Florida in less than ten minutes turns out I'm a distraction.

I gave a shot to my new school Hawkins High School... heard it had so many bullies. But I couldn't care. You may ask- why would a person want to go to school- doesn't every kid hate it??! Well, I joined for one reason. And that reason was for a very special occasion. I loved her. I saw her walking at night with her dog- she looked so graceful and pretty- I couldn't resist, so I stalked her and found out where she went to school and where she lived.

Back to what I was getting ready for...

I took a bike so I would blend in and arrive. Now I look complete. I hated wearing girly things so I just wore baggy clothes. I took away my old rings and got a new gold one.

I walked into the school building as a few kids pushed past without saying a word. So rude. I pushed and shoved until I made it. I found the room I think? God the principal is a dork! He had a girly-themed office- talk about childish. "Hello?" He said as I was staring at the walls. I started at him with my arms crossed. "Your office looks weird," I say. "Watch it!" He screamed. I laughed. "Sorry- I'm a new stuff sir," I say. He looked me up and down, "hand me your paperwork then" he snapped. I took out a fake document. He read it and snarled. "Welcome Maxine"

I smiled "It's Max and thanks" I replied, I walked out of the office bumping into a brunette

JANE
I bumped into a ginger walking into the principal office, "Omg- I'm so sorry.." I say turning towards her. "Hello Madam," the ginger said. I blushed, She was so pretty to- I could stare at her all day. "Hi.." I say softly, as she bent down and kissed my hand. "I'm sorry, but what may your name be Mrs..?"

"Jane. J-Jane hopper.." I stutter flustered by her actions and beauty. "You may call me Max- or anything more than that-" she then smiled and got close to me. "Are you fli-irting.." I say quietly. "Hope to see you around," she said walking towards the councilor's office. She must be new I don't remember seeing her around.

"Darling what are you doing" my dad asked patting my head. My dad was the principal of Hawkins High School- Yes he retired from chief! He needed a better job. "Where's your brother at?" He asked. "Mrs G the art room," I say quietly. "Alright- what's bothering you?" My dad asked kissing my head. "After school?" I whisper. He nods and walks off. I smile to myself hoping I see Max more often

She seems like she's hiding something...
