Things to keep notice of:
Marinette is 17 almost 18
She has been over Adrien since she was late 14 almost 15
Hawkass/hawkmoth was recently defeated
She got the miraculous box back from him(guardian magic, death revival, and lessons learned)
Miraculous team consists of Luka:Viperion, Kagami:Ryujin, Chloe:Abiele(she got a redemption ark), Nino:Carapace, and Nathaniel:Renard Rouge
Chat/Cat Noir has been retired due to not taking duties as serious as he should and past actions being unprofessional i.e. (Syren/letting the water rise and focusing on LB not telling him what Master Fu literally told her not to tell him instead of saving the city, Frozer/getting mad at LB for not accepting his rose and not loving him back even though she's not obligated to feel the same, Straight up not accepting the word NO, not showing up to patrol and occasionally Akuma attacks(different from series)
Adrien isn't a horrible person, but in this story he isn't worthy of being a hero or Marinette's friend
Lila took good amount of control of the class, salty and Marinette distanced herself from her class
Marinette's parents distance themselves from her because of Lila's complaining to them
I'll try my best to correctly portray these characters but this is my first story

Personal note:I stopped watching miraculous a few episodes into season 5 because it was really cringe
If I don't like it I might as well move on to fanfics right?

In all of these stories Marinette is mature and occasionally admits the mistakes of her past(including Adrien obsession) this is a sign that Mari truly has grown up
I believe she gets to much hate for that obsession no it's not okay but at the same time some people overuse that and make it seem like her whole character is based off of that mistake when everyone makes them
