Chapter 8 : Testing Grounds - Part 3

The students were confused as to what is happening. But then they heard a sound,.....

'THUD'

....from the higher ground, where Yaga had positioned earlier.
Yaga has been knocked unconscious. But by whom?

A lady with a blue-tinted silver hair and a blood stained axe handle in her hand, stood there towering the students.

Meanwhile Gojo was not aware that Yaga was been knocked out. His Six Eyes detected cursed energy in the birds.

Geto had a shocked look in his eyes.
''Mei San!", Utahime called out.

Geto and Shoko asked in unison,'' You know her?"

Gojo heard Utahime's voice and realised that something is off.

''May I interrupt", Mei claimed.

''Did you just...?", Utahime tried to raised her concern, but could not complete her words.

Mei just tilted her head to find, passed out Yaga and then with a sly smile she said,'' I aim to misbehave, Utahime."

''Why?",Utahime sound doubted.

''We all have our own reasons", Mei replied.

While Utahime was confronting Mei, Geto opened a portal and let out multiple laser type curses at Mei.

Utahime dodged sideways, making way for Cursed Spirits to attack directly at Mei.

Mei grabbed her axe and jumped front and forth, to avoid touching the laser curses, eventually closing the space between her and Geto.

''Shikigami user? Or a Cursed Spirit user?" Mei enquired.

Geto searched for words.

Mei Mei has incredible speed and precision considering the size of her axe. She swung her axe several times while closing in on Geto, which resulted in severing the laser Cursed Spirits into pieces.
Geto could not spot her until she reached close to him.

Surprised and frightened at the same time, Geto knew, he was weak in closed-quarters battle.

Shoko was behind Geto. Considering that Geto took the offensive position and tried his luck by punching Mei.
