Charlie POV

I sigh as I toss and turn in my bed It's currently 10:57 pm and I'm having trouble sleeping, Everyone in my house has already gone to bed except for my big sister Victoria so there's a strange chilling silence around me. I want to call Nick but I'm not sure if he's awake since he falls asleep quite quickly, I'm also not going to get Victoria since she needs to sleep and I don't want to burden her. Suddenly my phone lights up and makes a small dinging noise I look over to see the message and surprisingly it is Nick! I thought he was asleep, so I texted him back quickly so he'd stay awake.

Hey Char, sorry are you still awake?

[Charlie Spring]

Yeah can't sleep lol

Suddenly my phone rings to Facetime, I pick it up to hear Nick's lovely voice "Hey Char," I blush, Even though Nick calls me almost every day it's become his nickname for me but I love it, "Hey Nick, why aren't you asleep?" I ask looking at him, I can barely see his face since the lights are off in Nick's room so it's very dark none the less I find comfort in his face, his voice, "Well I just got home since I went to see a movie with mom but we got caught in traffic" sighs Nick "an accident with a drunk driver, what about you?" "I just can't sleep I guess" I sigh turning over as I see a light turn on, probably Tori going to the bathroom "I can stay awake with you," Nick says looking at me as he adjusts his camera sitting up "you don't have to" I stutter but maybe that's what I hoped to achieve by calling him. I don't know but if he wants to sleep I shouldn't be a burden he may have had a bad day and just wanted sleep but he smiled and nodded. We talked for maybe an hour or two about everything we could think of from normal things like our school days, dogs, and our families then we talked about more romantic things like our future together and what we want it to look like, I must of fallen asleep because I remember is closing my eyes for a second while Nicks telling me more about Nellie and waking up the next morning, I open my phone to see a message from Nick

I smile and call him It takes a few seconds but he picks up, "Morning Char" he says I can almost hear the enthusiasm in his voice as I hear lots of shuffling he probably just got up "Have a good sleep?" I tease as he chuckles slightly "Yeah, did you" I smile he stayed awake even though he was clearly tired and could have slept at any moment but he didn't, "I did thank you" I say as the phone shuffles a bit "did I staying up help?" he says and I respond quickly "thank you so much" he chuckles again "no problem Char, just being a supportive boyfriend~" I laugh and he laughs, "I have to go now Char, bye" "bye" I say before he hangs out, I am so glad Nick's my boyfriend "you look happy" says Tori as a jump slightly, "okay that's it Victoria how do you do that!?" I look at her and she smiles "I've told you before sister magic, looks like you've got magic though with Nick" "shut up" I say and we smile.
