Chapter 6

“Did you watch the video?” Rhys asked, interrupting me.

I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded.

“Just a few seconds,” I mumbled. “Just until her face appeared on the screen. I couldn’t watch after that. She is my sister. I didn’t want to watch the video of her fucking one of the guys from school.”

Anger flashed in Rhys’ eyes. He chuckled darkly and shook his head.

“Listen to me very carefully, Sebastian,” he said as he slammed the phone against my chest. “I won’t tell her about this because it would crush her. I won’t tell her about this because I am afraid of what she might do to herself. I won’t tell her that her own twin threw her away because someone used fucking photoshop to fake a sex tape and he believed them without even talking to her about it or asking her if it really fucking happened.”

My eyes widened and my heart started racing. What?

Rhys stopped talking for a second. I could see anger rising in his eyes.

“I will give you and that group of bastards a day to delete that video and every fucking copy of it before I involve the police,” Rhys continued. “I won’t hold back if you don’t, Sebastian. I will hunt every single one of you to fucking hell if I have to.”

My heart was racing so fast and I was sure it would jump out of my chest.

“It’s not fake, Rhys,” I mumbled. “It’s her in the video. She slept with a lot of guys from school. All of them told me so.”

Rhys chuckled darkly.

“Oh, did they?” he asked mockingly. “When did she have time to fuck them all, Sebastian? She was always with us, you dick. She never left your side. She never left my side after you abandoned her. When did she have time to fuck them all?!”

Rhys was screaming by the time he finished talking.

I was just staring at him. I couldn’t answer him. I couldn’t speak.

Did those guys really lie to me? But why would they do that?

“I can’t believe this,” Rhys said, shaking his head. “I can’t believe that you fell for that. I can’t believe that you left her over this.”

I clenched my fists and tightened my jaw.

“I was always protecting her from them,” I said angrily. “I did everything I could to keep her away from them because I knew what they wanted. I knew what they would do to her if I let them.”

I could feel anger boiling in my veins.

“And what did she do?” I continued. “She went and fucked them all behind my back. They were mocking me. They were describing every fucking detail. Do you have any fucking idea how hard was it to hear all that? Do you know what I’ve been through because of her?”

Rhys shook his head and tightened his jaw.

“You have no idea what you lost,” he said. “She loves you with her entire heart and soul and if she ever finds out about this, she will be broken.”

Rhys took a deep breath and released it slowly.

“I am afraid that I won’t be able to fix her,” he continued. “I am afraid that no one will be able to fix her.”

My heart clenched painfully. It was getting hard to breathe again.

“She didn’t do any of that, Sebastian,” he added. “She never fucked anyone. She didn’t make a sex tape with anyone. Those fuckers lied to you and you believed them over your own twin.”

I started shaking.

Rhys took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair.

“Amelia hates Aurora,” he said. “I don’t know why, but she does. She is behind all of this. That is probably why she started dating you in the first place. She knew that the best way to hurt Aurora would be by taking you from her.”

My stomach twisted.

“The sad thing is that she managed to do it,” Rhys continued. “She took you from Aurora.”

Rhys furrowed his eyebrows and sighed.

“The worst thing is that she took Aurora from you,” he added quietly and pain exploded in my chest. “You will never get your sister back after this. You lost your twin, Sebastian. You lost your sister.”

I couldn’t feel my heart beating anymore. All I could feel was pain.

“I am taking her away from here,” Rhys said as he started walking away. “She isn’t safe her anymore.”

I flinched.

What?

Fuck no.

He wasn’t taking her anywhere. No one was taking her anywhere.

No one was fucking taking her from me.
