Hi guys! This is the first chapter :) Hope you enjoy xxxx

I slam my locker closed, upset. A seventy percent? That's insane. I don't except anything under a ninety. I'm so absorbed looking at my history paper, that I'm not looking where I'm going, as I walk down the hallway. I smash into a hard wall, and fall to the floor. I hear a deep chuckle, and I look up to see Evan smirking down at me.

"Hey babe." He says, pulling me to my feet. "What's up?" I glare at him, thrusting my paper at him. He looks at it, and whistles. "Wow." He says.

"Congrats."

"What?" I say confused.

"You did really well." He explains. "Way better than me."

"This is going to bring my grade right down." I grumble. "I've never gotten a grade lower than ninety." He chuckles, and loops his arm around my shoulders, guiding me down the hallway. "This is your fault you know." I protest.

"How?" He smirks, as we reach his car, picking me up, and placing me on his hood, standing between my legs.

"We had a three hour phone conversation last night." I tell him, trying to ignore his hand on my thigh. "I didn't have a chance to study as much as I should've."

"Lighten up baby." He murmurs, kissing my neck. "Try and have a little fun."

"But-"

"Harper." He groans. "You're being so annoying. I could be spending my time doing something fun." I falter a little. Was I bothering him?

"Sorry." I say quickly. "I didn't mean too."

"It's fine." He smirks, rubbing my thigh. "If you make it up to me." I frown a little, not sure what he means.

"How?" I ask.

"You know." He says, sliding his hand up my shirt.

"Oh." I blush.

"Is your mom home tonight?" He asks, looking at me.

"She has a double shift at the hospital." I say.

"I'll be there at six." He smirks, before placing me on the ground, kissing me hard. "Later babe." He gets in his car, and drives off, leaving me alone, blushing like crazy. I head towards my beat up blue pick up truck, sliding in. It's nothing compared to Evan's mercedes, but it the best I could afford. My Dad left my mom and I when I was twelve, so we kind of struggle to pay the bills. That's why I'm so insistent about my grade. There's no way I can pay for college without some sort of scholarship. I work at a small record store, which pays pretty well. That's why I was surprised when Evan took an interest in me. I was never really part of his crowd. But he really is a nice guy. I should be grateful. That's what people say. I get in my car, and wait for Bianca to arrive. She's my oldest friend. Finally, she runs out the doors, screaming at me. I laugh, as she flings herself into the passenger seat.

"Freedom!" She shouts. "Drive before Mr. Wilson tries to give me a Saturday detention. It's Friday!" She cheers. I giggle, and pull out of the parking lot.

"So." I say. "What was that all about?"

"I may have fallen asleep in his class." She huffs. "But it was so boring! The bell rang, and I ran for it, before he could say anything."

"Bianca Johnson!" I gasp.

"He can deal with me on Monday." She waves it off. "What are we doing tonight?"

"Evan's coming over." I say.

"But it's Friday night." She looks at me weirdly. "We do stuff on Friday night."

"I know." I say apologetically. "But I promised him. He was kind of getting annoyed. And I cancelled on him on Wednesday."

"He treats you like dirt." She groans.

"He likes me." I protest. "He's nice."

"Do you know what people say at school?" She asks me. "They all call you his charity case. He's using you. He's going to get what he wants, and then he is going to humiliate you. I can see it coming."

"Can we not talk about this?" I mutter. "You don't know him. He likes me. End of story."

"Fine." She sighs. "But please don't let him walk all over you." I nod, and smile. I can always rely on Bianca.

I yawn, as the movie finishes. Evan looks at me and smirks.

"Time for bed?" He jokes.

"Sorry." I grin, leaning into his chest, on the couch. "I can stay awake."

"Good." He murmurs. He pushes me back, and kisses me, deeply. He kisses me heavily, down my neck, and on my chest. He slides his hand down my side, and I gasp when he hooks his thumb in the waist band of my jeans.

"Stop." I say quickly.

"What?" He asks, annoyed, but not stopping.

"We can't go that far." I say. "I-I'm not ready."

"Of course you are." He says, rubbing my thigh.

"No." I say firmly.

"Don't you like me?" he asks, making eye contact. "If you liked me, you would do this for me."

"I do like you." I say uncertainly.

"Than don't be a bitch." He says, beginning to kiss me again. I try to enjoy it, because I don't want to upset him.

"Do you have a..." I trail off, embarrassed.

"You're so cute." He laughs. "Just say it. Condom."

"Yeah." I say blushing. "That. Do you have one?"

"No." He says, running his fingers through my hair. "It feels better without it. And don't worry. It doesn't bother me."

"But-"

"Just relax!" He insists, and unbuttons his pants. He reaches for my zipper, and manages to undo the buttons. He starts to pull, but suddenly I see a car headlight pull into the driveway, through the window.

"Oh my god." I yelp, pulling my pants up. "My mom is home."

"I thought you said she was at work!" He shouts, jumping off me.

"She said she wouldn't be home until morning." I said hurriedly. "Quick, kitchen." We run into the kitchen, and I open the back door for him.

"See you later?" He asks, rushing out.

"Yeah." I say, before shutting the door, just as mom enters the house.

"Hi baby." She says, joining me in the kitchen.

"You're early." I say, giving her a hug.

"Yeah." She yawns. "The nurse that I was covering for suddenly turned up."

"Good." I say honestly. "You should get some sleep."

"I will." She smiles. "You better as well."

"Love you." I say. She smiles, heading up the stairs.

"Love you more."
