Nick POV

I knocked at her office door. " Come in." She replied.

"The boy is here again." "Who?". She looked up turning her face to the direction she heard my voice from. "That journalist boy. What was his name again? Karl right." She sighed. " The boy is jumping in a flowing river, unaware of the fact of how fast it is flowing. I am telling you this Nick this won't end good neither for us nor for him."

"Send him back from where he came." she said making her busy again in feeling the letters and reading the braille book which laid on her study table. "He won't go this time Lilliana. He wants to know the true reason behind you leaving special force department."

"What does he thinks of himself. GODAMMIT SHERLOCK HOLMES?!" She yelled throwing the book she was reading. "Can't he see I am blind. Isn't this a reason big enough to leave the department." She roared again holding her head tight between her palms. I knew this would just end like this. She gets hyper whenever someone brings this topic up. I quickly grabbed her bottle of pills from the shelf and turned towards the glass of water present on her table.

"Here have these." I gave her the pills which she accepted from a shaky hand. "The department shouldn't have leaked my identity in the first place just so that I can be a hero to the world." She said her voice made it obvious how tired she was.

"Lucy!" I called one of the servants. "yes sir." "Take Maam to her room she needs to rest." She nodded and came near Lilliana tried to take a hold of her shoulder to help her stand up. Lilliana shrugged of her hand. " I am fine." She said standing up taking her wrapped stick as she walked out of the room. Even if she was blind she was aware of every detail of her mansion. Secondly, she was a trained agent she had training of defending herself or getting aware of the surrounding in case if she is blind folded. Hence, she rarely ever used that stick.

The maid gave me a bow and followed Lilliana. Everyone was aware of how she can turn a bit rude if she is not feeling well. But she is a genuinely kind and generous as a person yet strict in her ways.
