Kindergarten was split in two, the young kids: 1-5 years old.

And the other group was only 6-year-olds.

I liked the division and the subjects they taught.

I guess I've made up my mind.

I saw Luca coming down the stairs, I stood up and rushed to him before he'd leave.

"Did you choose it already?" he sounded more shocked than he was asking a question.

"Yes," I nodded offering a smile. "Ok, what did you choose?" he asked looking at me.

"Hillard Academy" I smiled in assurance of my choice.

"Why?" he asked.

"They have good standards and rules, I like their division, teaching support and the school goes all the way to University so the kids will probably never have to change schools" I explained.

He slowly nodded as though taking it into deep consideration.

"Ok, I'll have Andrew have security checks and they can go" he finally agreed.

"Again, thank you for finally agreeing" I smiled.

"No problem" he looked at his watch, "I have a meeting now I'll be back by 7 pm" he explained.

I gave a small nod, "Ok, are you going to take Gabriel with you?" I asked.

Lately, Gabriel has always going with Luca. He typically only got home to sleep wake up and go with Luca to work again, and repeat.

"If he can" he looked at me, "I'll go check," I said.

But I turned back to him, "Please don't be too hard on him Luca, especially when it comes to what he's going to take control of when he's older. He's still a kid, didn't push him too far" I clarified.

I knew Luca was doing his best at being a father. I understood now that he didn't have the best example of a father figure growing up.

I just want Gabriel to be free and not feel pressured.

"Okay, I'm trying not to. It's quite a lot he has to learn especially since I started teaching him this late in age, but I'm trying my best. I promise" he assured.

I let out a small sigh, "Ok, just keep it in mind" and with that I turned around and went upstairs.

I knocked on the kid's playroom and I heard Alex say 'Come in.'

He was helping Bella with her homework.

I went over to Gabriel who was writing and kneeled by his chair.

"Hey Gabriel," I waved to get his attention.

He realised I was there so he took his earphones off and paused the video he was watching.

"Do you need anything Mammy?" he asked with concern in his eyes.

"No, I wanted to ask if you'd like to go with your Father to a meeting?" I asked.

"Remember you are free to choose" I reminded him.

"I can go," he said getting up from his chair and putting his earphones down.

"Are you sure?" I asked standing up.

He nodded as he took his phone and put it in his pocket.

"You want me to walk you down?" I asked.

"No need I will do fine" he smiled.

"Okay, have fun and listen to your father" I reminded him before he waved bye.
