Leah's POV

I sat at the table as the kids ate their food.

"Kids," I said trying to get their attention.

They all looked at me. "What is it, Mammy?" Gabriel asked putting his spoon down.

"What do you guys think about going to a real school?" I asked.

They all looked at each other, "A real school?" Andrea questioned tilting her head.

"Yes" I replied, "Where you get to talk to other kids and make fwiends?" Bella chimed.

"Yes," I giggled at her excitement.

"Sure" Gabriel gave a thumbs up, I looked at Bella who just bopped up and down on her seat from excitement.

"Yayy!" she squealed. I looked at Andrea who didn't look enthusiastic.

"I guess it's worth a try" She shrugged, but she looked doubtful.

I know Andrea has come a long way especially when it comes to her mental health.

She barely talked to me for two whole months before trusting me. I now started to wonder how she'd deal with more than 15 complete strangers for 8 hours of her day.

Andrea was happy and all, but I still supervised her. Something about her happiness didn't feel right.

Not that I don't want her to feel happy.

It's just that when she smiles it's as though she's not actually happy.

And I'm worried about her. That's why I watch her, I make sure to be there when she sleeps and when she wakes up.

And if I'm not there, she should at least be in the company of Gabriel and Bella.

A couple of times when I go to wake her up, I find her pillow wet, especially where she lays her head. As though she cries.

I ask her if anything is wrong but she just smiles and says it's nothing.

Lately, I decided to make her bed instead of the house help.

And when I make her bed I realise she turns the pillow around now.

To make sure I don't see it or something.

She hiding something. I know she is.

Lunch finished and they all cleaned their own plates and utensils.

"You guys better go back up, I'm sure Mr Alex is waiting" I reminded.

They dried their hands and went up the stairs.

I sighed and then my phone buzzed, I opened my phone.

Luca sent me the file.

I typed a reply.

Me:
Thanks

I opened the file and went through all the schools' information.

Luca really went all out on getting everything about the school.

It even has the background story of every staff working in the schools.

All of them looked nice but one looked eye-catching.

It wasn't out of the world fancy.

Like one of the schools offered a personal butler for every student, and that was just...unnecessary.

It was just enough.

It was called Hillard Academy.

It had separate buildings for every level: kindergarten, 1 to 3 grade, 4th grade to 6th, 7th grade to 9th grade and so on.
