Why is everyone so hostile these days?It seems like I have to walk on eggshells all the time.And if you do, you're seen as shy, sensitive, uninterested or bully able.But if you're too much you're cocky, overpowering, arrogant or not subtle enough.Where's the middle ground?I'm trying to treat everyone equally but I'm finding myself jumping between extremes from person to person?And I'm finding people are being rude, snobbish, unhelpful or fucking unkind just because they can, or they're having a bad day, or they just read your message wrong.This is why I hate social media.This is why I hate texting.This is why I like phone calls, FaceTime, Voice Messaging and physical interactions, because they allow a level of understanding that most people don't get online.
If I write 'god you're so cool' online, someone could real that sarcastically, even if I'm writing it positively.If you write 'Ha' or :) to me, I have no choice but to see that as negative, for no particular reason.
I'm over this. Might say fuck it and delete social media all together.
