Miguel along with Y/N, Johnny, Carmen and Yaya where looking with worry as Miguel was getting checked over by the medic.
"Good news Looks like it's just a pulled muscle It may ache, but you'll be fine" the female medic says makings everyone sigh in relief
"Oh, thank God" Carmen says
"So does that mean that I can keep fighting?" Miguel asked out of curiosity
"They've given you 30 minutes to recover So let the pain guide you If it's telling you to sit this one out, I'd listen I'll get you an ice pack" the medic says
"Thank you" Y/N tells her as she leaves
"How's it feel now?" Johnny asked
"Not bad Just a little sore" Miguel answered
"Miggy, you don't have to continue" Carmen tells him
"Don't worry, Mom If something feels off, I won't fight" Miguel reassures her as she looks at Y/N
"Don't worry Ms. Diaz I'll keep an eye on him" He tells her making her smile
"Thank you" she says before looking at Johnny
"Make sure he's okay" she tells him
"Of course" Johnny responded
"You were so good out there Especially when you kicked that one kid in the face" Yaya said making Miguel chuckle
"Gracias, Yaya" Miguel responded as they left leaving both Y/N and Johnny with Miguel
"All right We've got a half-hour Show your back who's boss" Johnny tells Miguel
"Uh Sensei I Don't think-"
"And you Mr Myers have a match coming up so you go and get ready and I'll meet you out there" Johnny tells Y/N as he looked at Miguel who gave him a nod telling him to go he'll be fine
"Yes Sensei" Y/N says before bowing and leaving the room

With Y/N hallway
Y/N was making his way back to the arena when they familiar figure came into view and he was surprised at who it was
"Dad?" Y/N questions as he saw his dad standing there with a proud to smile on his face
"Hey kiddo"
"What are you doing here I thought you had to work"
"Eh I did but my wife took over the store today so I can come here and wanted to see my boy in action"
"Really you came all the way here just to watch me fight in the tournament
"Of course I didn't get to see you in last I didn't get to see you in last years tournament but I made a promise to myself that I'd see you in this one I actually caught a couple of your matches I got to say you're a lot more skilled than I was your age that's for sure"
Listen to know what to say so all you did was walk up to his father and give him a hug surprising Mike
"Thanks for being here it really means a lot" Y/N says as Mike hugged his son back
"I wouldn't miss it for the world now get out there and never match to get to you" Mike tells his son as they broke the hug
"Yes sir....wish me luck?" He asked
