For most people, being betrothed to a prince is a fairy tale dream. The prospect of becoming royalty - a real life princess - and the accumulation of riches and clout that come with it is far more than what anyone could imagine, much less ask for.
My experience, however, was far from rosy. The boiling animosity, the lack of candor, and all of the lies; it was never the life I'd ever imagined for myself.
But, in defense of all of the other prospective princesses out there, my situation was a little unique. I wasn't exactly an average person to begin with, and, more stunningly, my prince charming was undead.
