"because i wouldnt let her" hopper says hugging her "the hells this? where have you been?"

"youve been hiding her!" mike says hitting hopper
"lets talk! alone" hopper says pulling mike into a room
"we missed you el" i said hugging her
"yea missed you tons" lucas said joining our hug "cmon dustin join in" he said, dustin joining our group hug
"we talked about you pretty much everyday" dustin said letting go

"eleven? hey uhm, im max. ive heard alot about you" she said putting her hand out for her to shake, eleven walks straight past her

me and max were just chatting about stuff until hopper and el we're getting ready to leave

"going to close this damn gate." hopper said with a grunt

i loved it when hopper called me kiddo, it made me feel loved, since you know. my parents are never home and steve is all i have, im grateful for steve honestly. hes looked after me my whole life basically, even when we were both young.
"mav, max get over here!" dustin shouted, me and max ran over "we need to do something, to help"
"like what though? were 13 year old kids we cant do much" i said
"steve! come put it in now! its big enough" dustin shouted as steve walked in with the demo-dog
"what the fuck stevie" i said laughing
"its dustin." he said putting it in the fridge
"joyce has gone to get the thing out of will, hopper and el have gone to close the gate. why dont we go do something?" i said
"because its not safe mavi, you know this" steve responded

we were planning on what to do before we hear tires screeching along the road
"shit shit shit its billy!" max screams "if he finds me here im dead!" max runs and hides
"il take care of it" steve says walking out the door
him and billy speak for a good minute before looking in the window and seeing us
"do you think he saw us!?" i screamed as the door opened
