"Got what exactly?" Big Red asked.

R.J.: "I gotta admit I thought we were dead. But what Eduardo managed to pull outta his butt at the very last minute surprised the heck outta me."

Shortly after Miss Jenn left with Nini and the Bowens, Eduardo and the remaining Drama students collaborated on an impromptu performance. With some Puerto Rican costumes, set pieces, and stage lights left over from the school's past production of West Side Story, he went onstage with the Three Caballeros, E.J., Gina, Carlos, Ashlyn, and Kourtney, singing and dancing to what he liked to call "un himno a Puerto Rico" ("an anthem to Puerto Rico")...

Although it was only one Blues Brother performing with the Wildcats, the crowd nonetheless warmed to the colorful, well-choreographed performance – particularly the Latin members of the audience. It received a standing ovation that lasted for four straight minutes.

Four minutes that Eduardo hoped he bought for Miss Jenn, Nini, the Bowens, and especially El-J and Juliet.
