A heart for the soul

They both knew that someday
They will commit to each other
That someday
They will have to accept the fact
That they were made for each other
And
That "someday" was this day.

Last paper of class 10
They decided to finally meet n speak of their heart
But none of them had an explainable reason
Or smthn to start

She was so shy
Running n hiding from him
Her butterflies willing to fly
He followed her as he knew
That it was now or never

He didn't care where they were
On the pavement or on the road
Their hearts were somewhere else
Somewhere but together
Between a hundred people
He held her
Unafraid of anyone ,but her killer mom

Lack of time made him
A poet
Maybe he had something in his mind
But he spoke something else
He remembered each n everyday
Like he had lived them a million times

" In this short lived life we're all meant to die
But some things are worth a try
I've waited 4years 10 months n 21 days
thats
1768 days
Everyday wanted to be with my angel
In every possible ways
I know the next thing I'm going to say is not that clever
But will you make me the luckiest man ever?"

She almost ran without a reply
The danger mummy was well in sight
He stopped her asking what was in her mind
She smiled
N all she said was a simple "YES" .
