What was changed?

The distances were very clear

Two different minds with the same fear

We both took a step forward

Together

Not as lovers but as friends

Residing on the philosophy

Of a strong base, for a building which was to

be constructed forever

But was it easy?

I'd say 'no'

We didn't know where we stood together

We never let our love come back to the surface

Just the thought was scary enough

There was hope
