Chp 38: "the cat and the spiders"

Sam throws the emp into the air as it detonates, Peter and Gwen catch up to him as they chase after her, the three end up chasing her through a subway as she boards the back of a train and it takes off, peter and Gwen's web shooters finnaly reboot as the three get back to swinging and chase after the train

Peter: we can help you stop hammerhead

Felicia: how?, No killing, no breaking the law, you're way won't get it done

Sam: we could figure something out, there's more ways to beat a crime boss

Peter: Felicia, about you're son, I just need to know, is he...

Felicia: he's mine, and I'll take care of him

The three swing halfway through the subway station as they near the exit, they make it outside as the spiders run on the side of a moving train padding by

Felicia: guess I gotta play harder to get

Felicia jumps off the train as she uses a Zipline and jumps onto a building

Gwen: we gotta get closer

The three start to chase after her from building to building as Sam throws a dark web at her which slows her down a bit

Felicia: why are you webbing me?!

Sam: cus I'm trying to slow you down

Felicia: just stop chasing

The three get closer as Sam and Gwen shoot thyre webs at her heels and pull her into the roof of a building as she slides off of it and was about to fall as peter catches her and faces her while upside down

Peter: now can we talk like human beings

Felicia: this seems pretty human to me

Felicia says as she flips onto the roof as Sam and Gwen land next to them

Gwen: we know what's on those drives you're stealing

Felicia: look at you little spiders, you're both as much detectives as he is

Peter: you can't give hammerhead the last drive, once he has what he wants youre son will just be a loose end, let us help you

Felicia thinks for a moment as she looks at Peter

Felicia: what are you thinking?

Peter: stalk him, give us some time to find your son

Peter says as she carreses peters mask

Felicia: I missed you, glad we're back toghter again

Peter: not like that

Felicia: shame

Felicia says as she stands up

Felicia: okay, I think I can give us a couple days max

Sam: a couple days is all we need

Peter: so uhh..about you're son, is there I chance I'm-

Felicia cuts him off as she places her finger against his mask

Felicia: later, for now let's find him...when he's safe...then we can talk about that, keep in touch spiders

Felicia says as she shoots a Zipline and runs off

Peter: MJ's gonna kill me

The three then call MJ to fill her in

MJ: hey, you guys get her this time?

Peter: yeah, she's gonna stall hammerhead while we all try to finde her son

MJ: did she tell you if you're...?

Peter: she didn't say

MJ: of course she didn't

Sam: hey Pete, I've been thinking, from what ive heard about black cat shes a really good lier, are you sure shes not just using us?

Peter: I know her, she wouldn't be working for someone like hammerhead unless she had to

Sam: okay, just a thought

MJ: I'm gonna run that plate number you sent, I'll let you guys know where it leads

MJ says as she hangs up, that was until sams stomach started growling

Sam: you guys down to grab a bite?

Gwen: oh my God yes can we please go get Eddie's
