WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS SILLY LITTLE THIGN

So I haven't expressed it much on Wattpad ( apart from my reading lists ), but recently I've been getting into Ninjago and I had finished it on Netflix a few weeks ago, the only thing I haven't watched yet is the movie ( but that doesn't matter lore wise ).

It was a silly little series about silly little characters doing silly little things to add to the silly little lore, but there is one thing I don't see a lot of people talk about...

JAY'S BIOLOGICAL PARENTS.

We all know who Kai and Nya's parents are, we know who Lloyd's parents are, we know who Zane's creator/parent is, and we know who Cole's parents are, HELL we even know Master Wu and Lord Garmadon's parent.

But, not Jay's.

If you haven't watched Skybound this might spoil a bunch so continue with caution.

It was established that Jay's parents are Edna and Edd and that he was born and raised in a junkyard, but Skybound changed that ALL. 

When Jay made his wish to Nadakhan, he wished to not be born in a dump and be rich and stuff yada yada yaaa, but when his wish was granted it was revealed that his actual father was actually the famous Cliff Gordon AKA FUCKING FRITZ DONEGAN. 

( For those who don't know, Fritz Donegan is a famous super hero in the Ninjago universe and Jay would clean his toilets for him if he asked him to )

Anyway, after Skybound ended when Jay made his final wish and Nadakhan was defeated, everything went back to normal and time reversed, meaning that Nadakhan was never freed, meaning that Jay's dad isn't actually Fritz Donegan.

Except... he is......................

For a bit of context, Nadakhan is not good by any means. When you make wishes and he grants them, they always have a twist to them that make your wish your worst nightmare ( ex. you wish to never have to go to school again and he fucking blows up the school with your friends inside ), and when Jay made his wish, Nadakhan simply just killed off his real dad, he didn't alter Jay's biological family.

When everything went back to normal, Jay's dad never died, meaning that he never got the money or the mansion he owned. He is STILL related to Fritz Donegan and is STILL adopted.

But one thing that also gets me is his biological mother. It was made clear that Jay inherited his powers from his mother who was the previous lightning master, but we never hear ANYTHING about her or ever get any answers in the original series, and I doubt we'd get them in Dragons Rising since it opens up a whole new storyline.

We don't know her name, if she actually married/relationed with Fritz Donegan, her personality, etc...

But what confuses me the most is WHY Jay was put up for adoption. I did originally think that they put him up for adoption because with his mom being a previous elemental master and his dad being a literal superhero that he would get a ton of attention from possible villains and they'd always be on his back, but even if this was the case Jay would still end up getting his powers and be a ninja, so it would be inevitable that he would always be on the mind of a potential villain.

But another thing that can be proposed is that Jay's mother saw what happened to Kai and Nya's parents and didn't want to risk anything, so adoption was the only way out of it. ( For those who don't know Kai and Nya's parents ( Ray and Maya ) were kidnapped by the hands of time and forced to make armor for them and shits so they left their kids and weren't in a good percentage of their lives. )

But then again if she did this, whose to say SHE wouldn't be kidnapped and that Jay would find out she was forced to make stuff for the hands of time and think shes a traitor. Again, it would most likely be inevitable.

Then again, I could be looking too deep into this and their just Legos.
