“I’m just too used to Mo Mo’s company that I have misunderstood my feelings. If you guys hadn’t come between us, I obviously could have realised it if I was just given a little more time.”
“Besides, we broke up a long time ago. Don’t mention that vicious woman to me.” A flash of disgust flashed across the bottom of Qin Chu’s eyes.
A breakup was indeed a breakup. Or Qi Yan, who deliberately left Qin Chu, mentioned it first.
Even though, as Qi Yan had expected, Qin Chu went to look for her, Qin Chu hadn’t considered the matter of them getting back together nominally because he was so distracted afterwards.
It was not as if Qi Yan hadn’t subtly mentioned getting back together.
But because Qin Chu was always thinking about Xiang Yi Mo and his mind was in a mess, he avoided talking about getting back together.

When he returned to his senses and realised this, he was clear about the insurmountable gap between himself and Lu Wang Chen, causing more resentment and anger to surface in his heart.
“And how much better are you?”
“How much better than me? That’s a joke. You are still disregarding your long years of brotherly love and stealing someone’s fiancée by any means necessary.”
Lu Wang Chen looked at him and gave a cold chortle. Hostility hid in his black and white eyes.
The curvature of Ji Heng Yu’s mouth grew wider, and he spoke before Lu Wang Chen could reply with a smile, “Fiancee? You haven’t acknowledged it before, and you haven’t even hold a decent engagement.”
“Just like you once said, it was just your mother’s unwritten verbal words while she was hot-headed. So naturally it doesn’t count. Since it wasn’t the case before, and it’s even less now.”
Qin Chu grimaced. He never imagined he would hate Ji Heng Yu’s mouth as much as he did today.
It was as sharp as a knife dipped in poison.
It was as vile as a knife stabbing his vitals, always taking the trouble to repeatedly slash his wounds.
Unrelenting, he said, “Even if I don’t admit it, Mo Mo has always claimed to be my fiancée. Have you guys ever heard Mo Mo says she likes you guys? And she has been clinging to you like a little tail since she was a little girl, wanting to marry you from the bottom of her heart?”
It was like a declaration and like a deliberate attempt to provoke them.
“You guys always knew that Mo Mo always loved me to death no matter what and were jealous, right? That’s why you deliberately didn’t tell me the truth, to watch me misunderstand Mo Mo and hurt Mo Mo, so that you could take advantage of it.”
“And now that I know everything and realise my feelings, you guys can just be jealous of me.”
“If I were to pursue Mo Mo and Mo Mo knew I liked her, Mo Mo would turn back regardless and not want you guys.”
Qin Chu licked the inside of his mouth and snorted.
“So you guys didn’t want Mo Mo to touch me again and deliberately made Mo Mo leave my side. What I said …… right?”
When he heard this, Ji Heng Yu’s carefree smile faded, the already devoid of temperature expression became even colder.
Lu Wang Chen had already clenched his fists. His knuckles cackled. In the bottom of his eyes, it was as if something dangerous was coagulating.
“What’s wrong? Do you want to fight?” He spoke in a deep voice.
Qin Chu froze, and before he could react, he saw Lu Wang Chen, who had been motionless when he arrived at the hospital, reveal apparent anger on his cold face.
Just as he finished speaking, Lu Wang Chen stormed up and stood before him. Then, Lu Wang Chen held him by the collar with one hand and punched him fiercely with the other.
