Part 10

Scene starts in a dark room,

Nehmat opened the door of the room and found the whole room to be dark as black paint.

 Nehmat: Ekam.........Ekam kaha hain tu?

Out of conscience....Nehmat kicked something made out of glass.

Nehmat: Ekam...........

Nehmat switched on the light of the room only to get shocked.

 Ekam was lying on the floor. His hand was bleeding and the whole room was in a mess.

Nehmat came close to Ekam.

 Nehmat: Ekam......yeh kya halat bana rakhi hain tu ne apni?

Ekam's eyes were red and his eyes reflected anger.

 Nehmat: Ekam........

Ekam(angrily)(teary eyed): Sab khatam ho gaya.........sab khatam kar diya usne. Sab....sab kuch khatam kar diya Harleen ne...sab kuch!!

Nehmat: Ekam Harleen ne jo bhi kiya uski koi na koi wajah hogi.

Ekam(very angrily) looked towards Nehmat and then gripped her arms tightly.

Ekam(very angrily): Kya wajah hogi? KYA WAJAH HOGI KI USNE BHI MUJHE DHOKHA DIYAAAAA?????!!!!!! KYUN?????KYUN DOKHA DIYA USNE MUJHE....KYUN?

Nehmat(teary eyed): Ekam shaant ho jaa.....

Ekam(angrily): Kaise shaant ho jaaun? KAISE SAB BHOOL JAAUN? KAISE?!!!! Kaise??

Saying this Ekam started crying bitterly and lied down in Nehmat's lap.

Ekam(crying): Kyun Nehmat? Kyun kiya Harleen ne aisa? Kyun? Maine toh use kabhi dhoka nahi diya....toh fir kyun kiya usne aisa? Kis baat ka badla liya hain usne mujhse? Kyun kiya aisa usne? Kyun? Kya mila use yeh sab karke? 

Nehmat(trying to console Ekam): Yeh baat toh mujhe bhi nahi pata ki kyun kiya Harleen ne aisa par itna pata hain ki koi wajah hain iske peeche.

Ekam continued crying. Harleen's betrayl completely broke him. Since he got to knew that Harleen made him sign the divorce papers without his concern.....he broke down completely. The only question was....."Why?

Ekam continued crying in Nehmat's lap until he heard a screaming sound from the hall. It was Mallika.

 Ekam wiped his tears and went to the hall with Nehmat.

Ekam: Kyun aayi hain tu yaha?

 Mallika: Oho....disturb kar diya kya maine?

Ekam: Apni bakwaas band kar aur mujhe bata ki kyun aayi hain tu yaha

Mallika: Khush khabri dene. 

Nehmat: Kaisi khushkhabri?

 Mallika: Khud hi dekh le.......

Mallika handed over a card to Nehmat. Nehmat opened the card and as soon as Nehmat opened the card.....she got shocked seeing the card.

 Ekam snatched the card before Nehmat could read it properly.

Ekam's hand shivered and he stumbled seeing the card. It was none other than Harleen's marriage card with an NRI bestfriend of hers.

 Nehmat: Yeh kya mazaak hain?

Mallika: Mazaak nahi hain yeh sab.....Jasmine aunty ne khud diya mujhe yeh. Aur yeh bhi bola ki we are invited in the marriage jo ki aaj raat ko hi hain. Chalo accha hain....main toh jaa rahi hoon dress chose karne......shaam ko tum dono bhi aa jaana...tamasha oops...shaadi dekhne.
