Part 9

Harleen sat down speechless. She decided something. It might break Ekam's trust on her forever but it will prove Harleen's mind ball wrong and will kill all the feelings that ever took birth in Ekam for Harleen

Harleen(in mind): Mujhe maaf kar dena Ekam par mujhe yeh karna hi padega

Three lives will be destroyed and she cannot bear her love enduring pain so...she took this heart wrenching decision.

Scene shifts to Randhawa Mansion,

Ekam was looking at Harleen's photo and speaking with it

Ekam(in mind)(teary eyed): I am extremely sorry Harleen.....maine tumhe hurt kar diya. I never wanted to hurt you lekin pata nahi mere dimaag mein.....I don't know kya ho gaya tha mujhe....I just couldn't understand ki maine yeh kya kiya aur kyun kiya. Aaj ke baad....main tumhe apni shakal bhi nahi dikhaunga Harleen kyunki you deserve better.

Ekam kept sitting on the floor as tears fell down his cheeks while remembering the moments he spent with Harleen. Those were the moments which he didn't actually cherished but he should have done that.

Next Morning

Ekam stood up and went to the kitchen to drink water when suddenly the door bell rang

Ekam(checking his watch): Itni subah subah kaun aaya hoga? Shayad doodh wala hoga. Par voh bell kyun baja raha Hain?

Ekam went and opened the door only to find Harleen standing there with a wide smile on her face and with her luggage in a small suitcase.

Ekam: Tum? Itni subah subah yaha?

Harleen(with a smile): Kyun? Main nahi aa sakti? Kal hi toh bol rahe the ki tumhe mere saath rehna hain. Ab hato raste se.....

Harleen came inside the house and directly went to her and Ekam's room

Ekam followed her

Harleen(with a smile): It's so good that I have come back home.

Ekam: Harleen...

Harleen : Haan bolo....

Ekam: Vo kal main....

Harleen: Arrey chodo kal ki baatein Ekam....kal ki baat purani. Aaj hum mil kar likhenge....firse nayi kahani.

Ekam smiled hearing this.

Ekam: Matlab tumne mujhe maaf kar diya?

Harleen: Haan......ab ek hi toh pati hain mera.....kaise maaf na karti Acha ab yeh sab chodo........ab se na main yahi rahungi.

Ekam(with a smile): Sach?

Harleen: Haan sach.......

Ekam hugged Harleen tightly

Harleen(reciprocating the hug)(in mind): I am sorry Ekam.......maaf kar dena mujhe.

Days passed and Harleen decided tried many ways to impress Ekam

She baked cake on his birthday and then distributed it to the poor

Harleen :- Aaj mere husband ka birthday hai toh main aaj poor logo ko food dugi aur rab ji pray karungi ki Mere Ekam ko duniya saari khushiyan mile usko woh mile jo isko khush rakh sake mujhe pata hai raj ji aap ko mere plan par bahut gussa aa raha hoga lekin trust me main jo kar rahi hu sirf aap ne pyar ke liye kar rahi hu

She went out and distributed gifts to all poor children

One old lady said to Harleen

Rab ji se yeh ardas karungi ki tu aur tera pati hamesha sath rahe aur tum dono ki zindagi main sirf sukh ho aur rab ji aap ke pati ko lambi umar de aur khub sari success de
