Chapter 3: Family Dinner Gone Wrong

Blue: Ah she bamboozled us!

Leon: Again.....

Blue: Wait, again?

Leon: It's a long story

Blue: Well....we should head back, I heard that the BSAA are coming here to collect the survivors.....damn that sounded cold.

We headed back to where the others were and left when the cleanup crew were here, we took the same ride back and had a moment to relax from that hectic mission.

Jill: That almost didn't go the way we expected

Rebecca: I know right? For a first mission, I think Blue did good

Ashley: He did more than good!

Blue: I mean.....I had to save you all, how did you get jumped?

Claire: They had people waiting as soon as we landed, we didn't have a chance

Leon: How did you even get away?

Blue: The guys who were meant to grab me were a bit too late so I hid in the next room.

Claire: Luckily you did, they were going to kill Ashley

Jill: I'm still shocked at how your tactic worked

Blue: Me too, I just did what my mind told me and I went through with it.

Eveline: Which doesn't include me!

Yeah yeah, we get it you damn Demon child.

Rebecca: Still....that Core Leader seemed off, are you sure he is dead?

Blue: I did shoot him in each shoulder, saw him fall to the cliffs and watches as how felt to the rocks.....oh the Ocean Man took him by his hand

Leon: Heh, nice

Ashley: I never got a chance to see his face but he really wanted to meet you Blue

Blue: He did? I mean, he did talk about me a lot.....he also knows some things about me....before I met Ethan. It set me off but I'm not glad he is dead, I wanted answers from him

Claire: And we will get those answers, for now, let's just head back and celebrate.

We headed back to the base and Ethan gave me a big hug, he was clearly worried from what Jake told me and I was glad he is so now I know that I can manage his heart rate.

Okay that's a bit mean but that's what brothers are for.

Ethan: I'm just glad you're okay

Blue: I'll always be okay, I don't plan to just randomly die, I need to find my true purpose.

Jake: So kid, you going to join the team?

Blue: Nah...it's too soon and I just turned 18

Helena: That's good, it's better for a boy like you to relax and not worry

Blue: Sadly, I always have to worry....that mission needed me....and I needed more from Masky

Chris: Don't worry, we will find more about you if you want

Sheva: We can look for potential leads

Blue: That would be nice....thank you everyone

Leon: We also need to make sure that Ashley doesn't beg for people to kidnap her

Ashley: Hey!

Blue: And for the love of God, please make sure Ada isn't there, I can't stand Leon getting distracted!
