Chapter 13

Mitch was sound asleep, enjoying his peaceful night of slumber when suddenly, he heard movement in his room.

He opened his eyes and tried to scan the area in the dark as much as he could. His eyes have yet to adjust to the darkness, so he didn't see much!

Then, out of nowhere, his bed dipped on the other side and Mitch felt a body slide up against him. "It's okay, go back to sleep. It's me, Scott" Scott whispered in the dark.

Relief flooded Mitch, knowing it was not a thief or someone else. Mitch closed his eyes and laid back down on his pillow.

Wait....did Scott just enter Mitch's room and laid in his bed? The realization hit Mitch and his eyes opened wide. What was Scott doing in there with him?

"Is....everything okay?" Mitch dared to ask

Scott hummed his answer "Yeah. Just wanted some company is all"

*5 minutes earlier*

Scott laid in his own bed, tossing and turning but he could not go to sleep even if he tried. For some reason, sleep didn't come easy that night.

After a while Scott gave up trying and he laid on his back, watching his ceiling. Why was he so restless? He felt physically tired but mentally, his emotions were all over the place. Especially after what happened today.

Scott sighed and thought back to their kisses. Usually, when Scott had a hook up, he kissed his partners but non of them effected him at all. It was a purely physical thing.

However now with Mitch everything is different. Clearly, even just a kiss had Scott up all night. But why?

Everything was different because unlike Scott's other hook ups, Mitch lived with him so he couldn't just avoid him after doing the deed.

What was even weirder is that Scott didn't want to avoid Mitch. He was kind and pretty and smelled good and had a great sense of humor and he was smart....he was a complete person with feelings and concerns and emotions and Scott found himself entranced by all that.

The last time that happened, was with Leo....Scott did not want to think about him. It was still a painful memory and it has been 10 years already.

His parents took away all his emotions and now.....those emotions are begging at Scott's door for him to let them in. Well....usually emotions are uncontrolable so instead of beging, they kicked that door down, demanding entrance.

Another thing that worried Scott was his parents again. If they got rid of Leo the last time, they could do the same for Mitch if they found out about him....altho they only kissed so far.

That thought made Scott feel protective over Mitch. Mitch was Scott's little secret and he was afraid he'll loose him too. He knew, his parents would do anything to keep up the fake perfection.

All these thoughts were swirming around in Scott's brain and he could not rest at all. He just wanted to sleep that is all....and it made him frustrated that he couldn't do that.

So after debating for a while, Scott decided to take matters into his own hands and pay a visit to Mitch's room. Mitch had a calming presence so maybe he could make Scott sleep.

*5 minutes later*

"Okay then...." Mitch was skeptical but he went with Scott's answer "I uhm....I talked to Viktoria."

"About?" Scott asked from behind Mitch.

Mitch turned around to face Scott, even tho he could barely see him "I told her that we kissed. She deserved to know the truth"
