All I Want (Daniel Skye)

Chapter 3

I was getting ready to leave to go meet up with Daniel so he could show me around.

I was so nervous I didn't know what to wear. Should I look cute or will that seem desperate? I'm just going to wear one of the outfits I bought yesterday.

I decided to wear my new white high waisted shorts with a pink crop top and some white converse.

I met up with Daniel and he looked cute himself.

"Hey". I said walking up to him.

I didn't know if we should hug or shake hands or-

So we just did a quick hug for now.

"So are you ready to see the beautiful Hollywood"? He asked.

I nodded and we started walking.

He showed me practically every single place that my feat were now hurting. I stopped for a second because my feet hurt too much to keep going.

He might have noticed because he started leading me to this little park with a bench to sit down.

We bought some ice cream and we were talking about some random stuff.

It was already 5 so we were walking for hours.

" So what do you think"? He asked referring to Hollywood.

" It's nice it's not like Where I live but yeah its nice. I would love to live here its so peaceful." I said

"It's too bad you are leaving". He said looking down.

Did he really just say that? He actually wants me to stay.

I don't live that far but yeah it would be crazy for me to move here.

I would leave all my friends back home, but I would be with my family all the time.

What am I thinking? I can't move here because of some guy. I've know him for like, what a day at least and I'm already saying I'm moving just to be with him.

" Yeah ". Was all I could manage to say.

" I think i should probably head home now it's getting kind of late". I said not wanting this day to end.

"Yeah I mean if you want to". He said looking down.

I nodded and he started walking me to my house.

When we were outside I didn't know what to do.

" So umm listen there's- there's-" He started scratching the back of his neck. "There's going to be this fair tomorrow, and I was wondering if you would like to go with me"?

" You mean on a date"? I asked.

" Yeah a date". He said.

" Sure. What time"? I asked trying not to scream of excitement.

" It starts at 6 so I'll pick you up at around 5 in case we want to get something to eat". He said smiling.

" Okay I'll see you tomorrow". I said.

" Okay bye". He said walking away.

I stood outside for a while thinking about tomorrow.

I went inside and my mom was walking by.

"Hey honey, so how did it go". She asked

"It went great, it's really nice here". I said putting my jacket on the coat rack.

" Yeah I was actually getting really fond of this place. I went out too and I met some great guys and some places were wondering if I wanted to work for them".

" That's great that means they really like you". I said

"Yeah, so listen me and your grandpa were talking and he was saying how he was going to move to a smaller place now that your grandma died. And he asked if we would like to live here instead". She said.

My mom wants to live here?

" Umm I don't know I mean yeah i like it here and I met a great guy and all. But are you sure you want to live here"? I asked even though I kinda did not want to leave in 5 days.

" Yeah I mean you are already getting used to it here and we could be around our family a lot". She said smiling.

" I mean it's good that I just finished highschool. So yeah I guess it would be a good idea to move here I guess". I said.

" Really? I'll go tell your grandpa". She said leaving me in my thoughts.

I was actually going to move. I have to tell Daniel he will be thrilled.

What if he isn't. I mean what if he doesn't really like me

I don't but I got his number so I'll text him.

I go up to the room I'm staying and lay down on the bed with my phone.

M- Hey guess what?

D- What happened?

M- My mom just said that we are moving here because she really likes it here.

D- Oh my god, really? That's great!!

M- Yeah we are probably going to fly back during the weekend and pack our things then come back by Monday or Tuesday.

D- Okay that's great. I'll see you tomorrow.

M- Ok bye.

D- Bye.

I decided to take a shower from all the walking that got me tired.

It was already 6:30 so I decided to make myself some dinner because my mom was too tired to make anything.

I just made some cereal because I can't cook. I really need to learn how.

I fished eating and it was already 7. It was still early so I just watched YouTube videos until I finally fell asleep thinking about tomorrow.
