We have so much time on this earth
But sometimes when we share that time with people
It seems so short
We can make predictions of what will happen in our stories
But sometimes our predictions are wrong
Their blinded by emotions
Or they're made too late

I made a prediction too early
I made a prediction that was wrong

I made a prediction on love
It was beautiful
Smooth
Fun
It felt safe and warm like a home I've never had

I should've really thought about it
I should've seen the signs
But i didn't
And i got hurt

I got hurt
And felt a new kind of pain

And ill I could think was
You cant just touch my soul and walk away...
